How do i know if a girl likes me for just being in the military and do people know i'm in the military wheni walk around town or when i go somewhere to eat???

In answer to your first question, some girls do. I liked one Army guy so much, I married him. We've now been happily married for going on four years.
How do you know if they REALLY like you? They'll marry you, support you, and put up with all the military bureaucracy crap without complaining too much. Problem is, it's hard to tell THOSE women from the ones who think that being a military wife is easy, and comes with great benefits. Let's see: mediocre health care, decent life insurance policy (which still wouldn't make up for losing my husband...not even close!), putting up with gossipy neighbors, having to move every couple of years (which CAN be good once you reach your destination, but PCSing is REALLY stressful), putting up with the trash that finds their way into the military (whether by signing that piece of paper, marrying into it, or being born into it), not to mention field exercises and deployments, et cetera. If you find someone who's aware of all this and STILL wants to be with you, you've scored.
And yes, I'm sure people can tell you're in the military, even if you're in your civvies. There's a certain way that military men carry themselves...and the haircut is a dead giveaway too.

If she marries you then she likes more than just your uniform.
Most people who have never been in the military will have no clue - but a veteran will be able to pick you that you either are or were in the military.

It depends on the person. I have been married to a navy guy, dated a marine, dated an air force guy...It all depends on the man or the woman in the uniform. Yes usually you can pick them out of crowd.
Its not an automatically "like you" because of a uniform.

Well it's like anything, some women like men in uniforms, but some don't. As for knowing if they like you in uniform, it's like averything else, they aren't going to throw themselves at you (well some might, but most have reasonable impulse control). And try not to be to full of yourself when you are in uniform. Humility is one of the things that people like about us.

They certainly like uniformed men more than corporate professionals...I say this because women are more devoted to their homeland and they'll surely love guys who defend their country under trying circumstances...So go for it guys!!

some do,if she sticks around for more than a night,she may like you as a person. don't put too much faith in a person that is attracted to you some superficial reason.
