A Zionist believes in the establishment of a homeland in Palestine for the Jewish people. A world wide movement of the Jewish people. Christians don't care as long as they can visit the Holy places in Israel.
If your true question is what is the difference between the Jewish & Christian faiths, then the answer would be; Christians accept Jesus as the son of God, the true Messiah. The Jewish faith claims that the true Messiah has not yet come.

Christians is a religion in which its followers adhere to the beliefs of Christianity. Zionism is not a religion, but more of a political movement; Zionists are people who advocate the creation and existence of a Jewish state (Israel) in the Middle East. Some Christians are also Zionists - one doesn't preclude the other - but most Zionists are Jewish invididuals.

Real Christians can't stand the zionists. People on the religious right are sheep and don't have a clue about their own religion and follow everything their idiot pastor and Pat Robertson tells them.
I'm Christian but I'm definitely not Zionist or pro-Zionist for that matter. Zionists are also far right wing zealots who usually Israeli. The ADL is also a good example in the U.S of a far right organization who is Zionist.

Some "Christians", GW for example, believe there has to be a state of Israel when the world ends for them to get to Heaven. Most true Christians are not Zionists as it is a political movement and has nothing to do with the true faith.

christians go with various interpretations of the New Testament. Zionists only have one agenda the State of Israel. You can be both and many in american politics are 100% dedicated to zionism if it ruins us or not!! Jews can also be Zionist or not even though their religion has alot of Zionism in it. Similarly, contemporary christians can be bloodthirsty savages despite Christ saying nothing of the sort!! Zionism is the ROOT cause of our problems in the middle east! The Palestinians were there for 2,000 years and were basically kicked out of their homes and moved into tents!

A Zionist is somebody who believes in a Jewish state. Which is no different than any other group of people who want a state. It's a political/nationalist movement.

The problem is that the poorly educated left doesn't understand the topic, all they see is the Nazi-esque headlines and fall in like the good little sheep they are.

There is little difference. Zionists support Israel, Christians support Israel. In fact, the only people who really support Israel are Israel and Christians. I suppose you could say Israelies and Christians are all Zionists. I say this as one who considers myself a Christian and accepting these labels, though "Zionist" is how the president of Iran would refer to me.

Christian's try and save you, giving out their charity, some travel around the world, giving their humanitarianism, they give money, effort, time, and funds to the needy.
Zionists are very private, keep to themselves, and give you squat. Both basically have the same belief in God, though.
