always base their claims on the idea that morality is relative and each person judges what is right and wrong....Yet, when the question of whether or not the "wealthy" and successful should be forced to pay high taxes, they claim that it's not......."right"....for them to have all the wealth? Sounds hypocritical to me...but I suppose i'm just a greedy, evil, fascist neo-con.

Can a liberal explain to me what it is about a living human being that makes them LESS of a living human being just because they are on the other side of the birth canal? I mean if it is a development issue, then couldn't we just as easily just kill babies on the grounds that they are not old enough to fend for themselves yet? Or how about killing children that have not reached adulthood?
If is a geographic issue (out of the womb as opposed to inside the womb) couldn't we just as easily say that it is OK to kill anyone as long as they are, let's say, covered by a blanket? Or maybe, inside a car? What is so special about the birth canal, or womb that makes killing a living human being OK?

More and more republicans are beginning to say that the Iraq war is a mistake and we shouldn't send any more troops there. The majority of Congress has told him he's making a big mistake. Yet he's going to do whatever he wants. I thought this was a democracy? Please, explain this to me. I'm not in it for Bush-bashing, I want real answers. That's the point of this forum, right?

Why do Bush supporters accuse "Liberals" of trying to make him look bad? He doesn't need any help folks. Nobody could make him look worse that he does himself.

No conpiracy theory in mass media? Supply and demand is what creates the masses.

I think people should leave media up to the professionals.

I work in Texas and we recently got a new CEO for the last few years since the CFO left I have assumed these duties. I was laid off last year for requesting a raise then hired back with the promise of my office, salary etc. My offiec developed a maintenance issue and I had to temporarily move. During the time it was getting fixed, un known to me it was given to an employee transferring down from the owners law firm. I then moved to the receptionist area as there was room for me.
The new CEO having only spent about an hour with me told me he felt I was not qualified to be a CFO I said I didnt want to be. Said he would never ask me to provide financial statments, budgets etc as I wasnt qualified. Yet in the next week I was asked to do just that. I have been demoted via my title, and moved into a cubicle that was designed for outside employees to have a place for their laptops with no storage etc. ( I am the finance dept). Hooks on the cube wall for coats i cant hang mine otherscan

I found their website

http://www.galluppoll.com/

but this just shows the results of the pols. How can I actually take place in the poll? I hear about them coming out every day, and the ofter disagree with my feelings, and I would like to add my input.

Or am I completely missing the point? Are they run in magazines or something?

They instead promote "abstinence only" programs which prohibit discussion of birth control and safe sex - which have been proven to do little to stem the teenage rates of pregnancy, abortion, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia.

When compared to rates of other industrialized nations with contraceptive education - the US is always last.

They claim this is for efficiency, but i believe it is programming the youger generation into sticking their hands to have their fingers read in order to purchase something. Desensitiaation is a very powerful mechanism. What do you think?
