No conpiracy theory in mass media? Supply and demand is what creates the masses.

I think people should leave media up to the professionals.

Almost all media outlets are owned by conservatives and will not allow that stuff to be published.

No. There is always a left and a right of every ones positions. The mainstream media is not in the center and all media does not report the news. They spin it. People don't watch moderates. It's not exciting. They want car chases and pulling children from wells.

that is a very simple answer. not all conspiricay theorists are correct but there are many that are. first of all the ones that are right aren't in main streem american media because they are not allowed to be and no network wants to air these people. the owners of all the television stations are in bed with our politicians they all make money together and scratch each others back. ouyr media is filtered and cencured just like n e other country in the world. this freedom bit is just an illusion. the ownder of fox example rupert murdock he is partners with bush. do u really think he is going to allow his media to speak truth about the bush administration and go against his pals carl rove, cheney? and bush. hec no. when you want to know the truth about a conspiracy theory you either have to wait and see the out come of their predicitions or do independent research on your own. sometimes dateline exposes a story where conspiriacy theorists have been saying it all along. good example i remember a couple years back there with this man on the corner of my street screaming for people to come and sign a petitition to band the patriot act. every one was ignoring him calling him a nut ball. he said exactly what it was that was going to happen a violation of our constitutional rights. then when the bill got passed the american public got into an uproar against the patriot act. even something as small as our library records are now allowed to be monitored. phones tapped etc.... this is all with out a warrent, there are no more rights. why because the american people were sleeping when this bill was passed. no one cared when there were people trying to warn. leaving media up to the professionals is hog wash. i do not want to listen to what people who are forced to be cencered have to say. education is not just one sided. when giving a story give both sides of the argument completley. do not just give one opinion with out all the facts. that is just my opinion. this country is falling apart because the american people have been allowing lobbyists to sprout their version of news with out all the facts.

Because it is in the mainstreams best interest to not show the theories...otherwise they would get cut off from info from the people affected (usually the govt) and then be set out to dry. Plus, Conspiracy Theories never really get the reaction they are intended to....IF the theory proves correct, then you would expect an uproar...but the masses are so callused that nothing happens anyway...so what is the point?

They ARE in the mainstream, but it's just a bit more subtle there. The mainstream media won't say they believe the theory that Kennedy was killed to keep America in Vietnam but they do give cover to the myth that Kennedy would, had he lived, pulled us out.

Easy...because there's a conspiracy to keep them out of the mainstream ;-)

Or maybe perhaps because every time one of them gets enough publicity everyone realises they're a total fruitcake and gets them locked up in an asylum.

They have trouble traveling with those pointy tin foil hats, and they are afraid the Giant Land Walking Tuna they read about in The Globe will snatch up their prototype body armor and leave them vulnerable to the genetic altering rays of the Black Star that exploded last month that only the Enquirer had a story about that can turn them gay.

part of the intrigue of conspiracy theorists is the fact that they are in the minority. they believe that to be "in" on something that most dont believe is somehow making them more important. Most people that fall for those type of things had grown up not being envolved with things and it is an attempt to override that feeling.

no one source of media or one official explanation should be accepted without question ... to simply refuse to ask questions and blindly accept anything a supposed "proffesional" tells u is sheep-like behavior ...

I agree. Scab labor is bad. Leave the constitution to the lawyers and judges and the media up to the pros!
