The really sad thing - no-one is surprised any more when the President of the United States is caught in another lie. That's what the Bush administration has done to our country.

He's also created record numbers of poor, eviscerated the middle class, and made the rich MUCH richer. Those things though should have been expected - those are the aims of all Republicans. They do not care about the poor, the hungry, or the under-privileged - they are a selfish and self-centered party.

Bush has set some records though - he turned a record surplus from Clinton's administration into a record deficit; he increased the national debt by more than any other President (Republican or Democrat) and he killed more of our children in a pointless war than any other leader. Oh yes - he's also, through his war, killed FIVE TIMES as many innocent Iraqi civilians than Saddam did in 20 years of mis-rule.

A little over 20 years ago a fella stood up with the hating on Israel and America rhetoric. I happened to have been standing in a formation that was informing us troops that there was a very high possibility of war then. The "Shock and Awe" that was the result of that rhetoric, required a couple Harpoon Missiles. It was unfortunate that Qaddafi's family was killed. We could stand down from that alert only after the carrier JFK made it out of the Mediterranean unmolested.
Bush could have been smart and had an "accident" after Saddam had fired SAMS at our planes enforcing the No Fly Zones. For the same effect and cost efficiency.

15 independant investigations into WMD and several countries doing their own investigations and Bill Clinton saying from 1998-2001 he believed there to be WMD all concluded there was WMD. A really big bunch of liars with the CIA backing them all up. And why in the world would anyone say we deserve to loose, are you not understanding what that would mean?

Nobody said he was. He had ties to many terrorist groups, including Al Qaeda. The point was that after 9/11 we needed to be more proactive and take preventing measures.

Let me put it this way, if a killing spree committed by the Crips prompted a city-wide gang crackdown by the LAPD, would it be absurd for them to arrest members of the Bloods in addition to the Crips? I don't think you'd say this - well, maybe you would.

Of course he had nothing to do with it. The ONLY reason Bush went after him was because Saddam threatened his father. Still wonder why years after the attacks, the supposed pilots were seen in their home countries...

They also forget that we used to support him with money and weapons, and that Iran was the one that gassed the Kurds, and that a majority of the 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia, but they are our good friends.

Haha! Oh boy... Maybe you should read your own political parties thoughts on Iraq before the started disagreeing with the war.

Do you realize that the Democrats think that the war is going on too long, and we should be working somewhere else in the Middle East by now?

Many politicians thought that there were WMD in Iraq... Many generals and politicians believe that they were moved.

Those who lie the most generally cling to the most absurd to make the rest of their lies seem more plausible.

Very few. From the very beginning, Bush and his administration were telling us they had no connection. Fox news never said they were connected. So we're not sure where this "fact" came from or who's been spreading it. It did not come from the Republican ranks.

And the only place I've heard it is from liberals who claim that conservatives believe this. Sounds more like urban myth than truth.

And anybody who thinks Bush lied about Iraq, they're wrong.
