I'm 20 years old and have no prior criminal history, I have a clean record until now. I'm scared and I know what i did was WRONG and i really regret it. I know this will stay on my record forever. Im just scared because I was given a citation to appear in court next week, I still live at home with my parents, I'm a fulltime student and have NO job. I dont know if i should get a lawyer, anyways I cant afford that either. Basically since I'm an adult I should know better than a minor, I'm scared that I might get arrested on my court date and go to jail. The thing i stole was 520. The citation said 3rd degree felony on it, does anyone know what will happen. I also got let free the same day i got arrested and i didnt have to pay for bail. Has this happened to anyone, if so what happened? how much was the fine and/or other cost. Do you think the judge will arrest me for this knowing that i have a clean record. Do you think I will have a good chance without a lawyer to represent me. Will my fine be under $ 1000. Thanks 2 all for the advice.

David Rockefeller is the head of the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), and the CFR calls for the end of the USA and the creation of a one world government. All liberals talk about is the freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the freedom of the press. How come they do not also respect the second Amendment?

I know guns have been responsible in many, many deaths, but think about this:

If we make guns illegal---
People who VIOLATE THE LAW (criminals) will have guns.
Everyone else will not.

Does this not scare ANYONE??? At least now, someone attacking you on the street has to think twice about it, because you might have a gun. If guns were outlawed, they would KNOW you didn't have a gun, and there would be no stopping them.

Recently, our local hospital has implemented a Dunkin Donuts within its main lobby... I have found that there is NO LINE there in the morning and have been going there to get my morning coffee (since the other Dunkin Donuts in town have a wait upwards of 20 minutes).

I normally park in the emergency parking area so I can run in and get my coffee, and up till this morning I have not had an issue. Today, my car was on the 'hooks' of a flat bed and they were moving it on when I came out. I tried to discuss this with the tow truck guy, even offering him a bribe but he REFUSED to take my car off the hooks.
I felt this guy was VERY rude to me and I'm thinking of pressing charges against the tow truck company...I was in that parking spot for less than 2 minutes and he had my car...it was almost like he was waiting for me...

do I have a case against him and my 100.00 impound fee?

He has always looked for a freebie, living with women, homeless shelters, anything for free. Now that he's in jail and there is free meals, free medical and dental, free place to 'live', no work, isn't this 'man' going to love it there? I have a restraining order against him for domestic violence against me and my two daughters, for when he gets out. But if he is getting a freebie and he actually likes jail,he'll be back after us because the restraining order will mean nothing.

I am literally sickened. I have seen so much hatred and idiotic posts slamming Liberals for being un-American and unpatriotic. Other posts have stated that Liberals hate America and everything it stands for.

Liberals ended slavery in this country. It may have been a Republican, but a liberal Republican. What did liberals do that was so offensive to people? I'll tell you what they did.

Liberals got women the right to vote. Liberals got African-Americans the right to vote. Liberals created Social Security and lifted millions of elderly people out of poverty. Liberals ended segregation. Liberals passed the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act. Liberals created Medicare. Liberals passed the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act. What did Conservatives do? They opposed them on every one of those things... every one.

So why is it so many Conservatives want to demonize us? Is it because they realize we have the better track record in history?

The people that are pro-amnesty will not truly understand why people are against illlegal immigration and against amnesty until it is too late.

They are probably right...our pi$$poor government WILL probably grant them amnesty. We WILL turn into a 3rd world country.

I would like everyones honest opinion, what do you think?

Should we bring back the death penalty for terrorists that attack us here in the UK?

Such as the scumbag that tried to blow up a train full of people and only failed to do so because he was to thick to build a bomb that worked! There are multiple witnesses to this potentially horrific crime. He wanted to die, lets help him do it...

Personaly I think that these people and those that help and hide them should be executed on live TV, with absolutely NO allowance for thier religion or a chance for them to communicate any message beforehand.

Now I KNOW that may sound bad or over the top, but do you think that particular scumbag gave a toss about the young mother carrying her nine month old baby, did he give her a chance to say goodbye or make her peace with whatever god she may believe in?

As the medical industry becomes more and more socialized in this country, highly qualified people are leaving the profession in droves. This is sometimes referred to as a "brain drain," and it is very damaging to the medical profession.

Do you support the use of force to keep quality people in the medical profession?

If not, given that our society cannot afford to offer monetary incentives outside of the free market, what other ways can we keep quality medical professionals?
