They vote under Clinton not to fund body armor and then when Bush sends the troops into battle, the Democrats scream because the troops don't have enough protection. So whose fault is it?

One of the main reasons this war is not being fought effectively, is the Clinton regimes neglect and down right contempt for the US military. It is widely known that Clinton parred down the size and strength of our armed forces to under superpower standards. It takes a cycle of years maybe decades to rebuild through standard recruiting. We are so limited in troop strength because we have not fully rebuilt to acceptable standards of a nation of our size and stature. This includes, not only manpower, but weaponry and technology. Its a valid point you make.

Riddler Bush had the bipartisan support of the congress check your facts and stop with the false propaganda. All (scratch that) most of the Bush bashers spew this blame and hate crap but never check and see what their hero's voted for. I check voting records because that speaks louder to me than does a politician's promises and I will tell you that most of our congress agreed with the decision to go to Iraq. It is also fact(once again proved by voting records) that the democrat's usually cut spending on military.

I think you answered your own question, but this is true with all Democrates in office, Cut the Military Budget is their Mantra! Look at what we pay them, NOTHING! I have a son in the Army, a Sgt, family of three and makes less than $21,000 a year. He spent two years in Iraq, hardly worth getting shot at huh?

they didn't need the body armor. There shouldn't have been a war. Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11 and they were not a threat to the U.S.
