This guy is perfect! So what if he has only been a senator a few years?? He's a genuine, well-spoken, intelligent man who is not going to run the country according to his fellow shareholders.

Bush has just about run this country into the ground! He is totally and completely manipulated the American people and pissed off the UN. We cannot afford to elect ANOTHER self serving republican into the white house!

In 2006 I had to go get bonded for a job, when my record was pulled up there was two felony charges that was shown for this case. I never pleaded guilty to any felony charges in Baltimore, I didn't even know that this was what was on my record untill I got my G.E.D and stared wiseing up, but this is on my record and its holding my back from geting good job's.

Civil cases in this country are nothing but shakedowns. Since the plaintiff imposes the cost of defense as well as the amount of the suit, the defendant is out thousands of dollars, even if they win. If we made the losing plaintiff pay the defendant's legal and court fees, (loser pays) it would certainly make people think twice before filing an obviously frivolous lawsuit.

I was working as a janitor in the Bronx and I walked into a room and saw a guy of about 40 molesting and cutting a young girl of about 6. I punched him unconscious, tied him up to the wall pipes, bound the child's wounds, and then called the police. While waiting for them to come I treatly him very badly. Won't go into details because there are children on this site.

My question is: If he recovers, can his defense lawyer go after me for using that "extra" force? Would he be able to win? I can't afford to get sued or go to jail because I have to support my friend's family. Turns out the man was the biological father but I don't know if that makes a difference.

Hugo Chavez' Citgo Oil is offering Americans free or discounted heating oil right here in the United States! I just a commercial for it on T.V.

Amazing that Bush, the President of the United States and Pat Robertson, leader of the Christian Right, have torn poor Chavez to shreds, yet what are either of them doing to help poorer Americans and the elderly with heating oil bills?

What decisions is the American Senate empowered to make? Can their decisions be over-ruled/vetoed by the President?
Does each State have the same number of Senators or is the number based on population?
Excuse my ignorance, I know very little about American politics and I'm just curious.

If one apology letter to a family results in ..."WE DON'T ACCEPT LETTERS AS SUCH AND WE HAVE TAKEN OUT LEGAL PAPERS AGAINST YOU FOR WHA TWE THINK IS A LEGITIMATE CLAIM...... Will a second one that is more formal and has a lawyer's approval work ????
I had friends...we have not seen each other for 3 months and talk only on the phone for 2 minutes to ask a question or 2 related to willyou sue me or not....who felt that a minor mistake would pay them a great deal of money in court. They threatened me and extorted money to solve the problem. Luckily I told them I would countersue them and they backed away. Now they say I owe them a better and more formal apology and perhaps some kind of present etc to overcome what I did. I did nothing except be myself and make a mistake outside of the Hindu/Sihk religion. I learned that these people are stubborn, hot tempered, arrogant and self- centered people who onlly care about money and not you or anyone.Apology means little to them.
