Wasn't this guy an ambulance-chaser who defended in frivoulous lawsuits? DIdn't he earn a big fat paycheck while our healthcare costs keep rising because of the fraudulent cases like the ones in which he defended?

Can you see America embracing someone like this?

Does anyone know if there is a marine corp order that states anything about if you stand duty at the barracks or OD duty if you have work the next day, you work for half a day ?

At my shop, if you had duty all night at the barracks or OD and the next day you had work,, they would secure you at 1200 for the rest of the day. Now we have a new GySgt and he told us that we arent going to get half days anymore.

I cant find any marine corp order stating that we are entitled to get off at 1200.

I got into a physical fight with my husband. Alcohol was involved. He provoked me into a rage and a grabbed for his throat. He choked me back. He got off of me, and then destroyed 15 glass picture frames and flipped over a dresser. I called the police because I thought he was going to destroy my entire house. The police ended up arresting me, and throwing me in jail. My husband got to stay in the nice warm house, while I froze in just a night shirt. I ended up walking in near freezing weather in just my night shirt, no shoes, no money. I walked 5 miles to get from jail to my house. 4 police cars drove past me and didn't offer to help me. This has been the most humiliating experience of my life.

I have been nominated for the Aerospace & Technology Honors Camp (ATHC) for the 2007 session. I have a choice of three site, but i am unsure which to go to. They are: University of New Mexico/ Kirtland Air Force Base(AFB), Oklahoma University/ Tinker AFB, and Wright State University/ Wright-Patterson AFB. Which should i choose to attend, and why?

Why do the Americans think that they can bully and threaten countrys like Iran and N.Korea..Countrys who are far better equiped and whos soldiers and more dedicated than the Iraq army, they wont run away like the iraqis did.

Why do they think the N.Koreans and the Iranians would worry about their threats when they cant defeat a few thousand poorly equiped insurgents in Iraq ?

How many of you give a damn what happens to this world providing you are not caught in the crossfire? I am not trying to be anti America but Just want to know whether you think for example that its okay for GWB to ignore the Kyoto agreement on global warming when its patently obvious that the worlds map is about to change irrevocably with flooding. THe coastline of many countries will be altered with floodplains replacing many inhabited areas. This will have many social and economic effects.Do you care or is it a clearcut case of Im alright Jack ??

I am shipping on 20 Feb for bct. My mos is 68w. Yesterday I was contacted by a special investigator for a security clearance interview. Does anyone know why a medic would need a secret clearance. I am worried about this because I couldn't get the job I wanted in the first place because of a clearance(MP). I have a misd. charge and that disqualified me for that job. If I don't get the clearance what will happen to me? Has this happened to anyone else? I have never heard of someone having this interview before they shipped except for intel jobs and the like. Please advise.

Think of his father as president, how his grandpa was- I ask how can two possible conspiracies take place and Bush not being behind one of them. For sure the Bush Administration flew the Bin Laden relatives out of the Usa first thing- as fast as possible after 9/11 ( When no planes were to be flying during that time in the states) So why are people still in such denial of Bush? He took the same oath the president did to up hold the constituation of the United States, and he was put in office for the people not just the Presidents vague idealest tendencies. He is not there to protect the president, but to ensure that he does not abuse his position and power. He needs to follow the laws and not be exempt from them like Gonzales is saying.

Defendent how do you plea (the judge)
silence for 1 minute
Someone then coughs (i love when that breaks a silence)
and then the judge waits and finally he submits a nolo plea. This sound really funny, like something that would happen in a comedy, plus if you don't face civil charges as though you would plea guilty then who would ever plea guilty if you could just get that fun silence nolo (no joke intended, even though i still think nolo is kinda funny).
Ok i hope i like these answers. Also please use actual facts not something Mad up (and please NO WIKIPEDIA article, i already looked it up there).
