My Friend parked his car over at my apartment.He faxed me a letter saying that he is lending me the car and my Apartment has no liability in case of any damage.But what if it gets stolen,Who is responbile?

China has allegedly gained 4th economic power status on earth. Due to their population, they have largest troop on earth.

However, China is under lot of scrutiny and criticism in all level:
- They were practicing high birth rate because they thought they can rule the world with high Chinese population.
- They are several generations behind Russia and America in military and scientific development.
- They have to act like a super power if they want to be one.
- Are they really that powerful?
- In case of military conflict, China's neighbor India has more than sufficient military prowess and nukes to send China to Yin Yang ashes and dust. Most Americans believe India is more than capable of swiftly and surely defeating China, and ruling China as its colony.
- Overall, China is behind, and will be behind for very very long time.

There's got to be some truth in such criticism, and there are other criticism about China.

I just thought about how would elections be if the VP was elected in a separate election instead of having a joint ticket and be VP if the Pres. candidate wins. I also thought how this could help future Pres. candidates by making them face the voters and have experience. I'd like to hear any answer!

I have been researching this issue for a while now and have received mixed responses. My calls and correspondences with the local officials in my region have gone unanswered. I have heard that it does recruit foreign born nationals as part of the ground troops. Any ideas as to the reality?

I sprang my knee snowboarding about a month ago and had to use cutches. When I went to work to give my boss my doctor's note it was difficult for me to go up the stairs so I had to ask someone assistance. I am now much better and don't need the crutches. But the company I work for still does not have an elevator.

...there have been proven to be lies, shouldn't George W. Bush be held accountable??! I can spot a patriot a mile away. I am better than Hannity or any country music singer too. We support the troops like no one else. We don't just do it lip service for political reasons either ;-) All the troops realize this war is being run the right way by the right people.

So I lost a wallet today, with $30 in it, along with a bunch of important cards that'd be a pain to get back or cancel, not to mention some costly. Someone found my number inside, called, returned it... with $30 still in it!

All I gave in return was a lot of thanks (maybe a little too much) and some Godiva chocolate. And that if they ever needed computer help to call me. Considering how much that wallet was worth to me, and how easily they could've just taken the $30, was I not appreciative enough? Should I have given more?

Maybe it's true that what goes around comes around ten folds back. One time I found $2 on a packet of gum at a store, but I didn't take it and asked around, the cashier told me she'd hold on to it and give it to her (who probably kept it.. :o)

George W. Bush never really served in the military. Yet, he is now Comander in Chief. His Generals have said (Not the Liberals as you folks like to keep saying) that to escalate the war in Iraq will not help the problem; that we need to get out and let the Iraqis handle their own affairs. Yet Bush keeps pushing his "more troops" agenda. WHY?
Does anyone have an answer that makes any (even conservative) sense.
I don't want jabs and slurs; I don't want smart aleck remarks. I don't want Liberals saying, "Aha!". I don't want Conservatives saying I'm stupid! I want a real answer, and I will conscientiously read and ponder each of them.
