Is it about time we built a wall around our great city.We can start charging these non london peasants to enter. Lets be honest they are all rude about our city but still want to come here to steal our jobs and jam pack our public transport system and roads. No northerners or home county folk unless they pay to enter. It sounds like utopia to me. BUILD THE WALL!!!!!

What do you think most wealthy people do with the money they save from tax breaks?

Keeping our eye on the ball we see that:

* From 2001 through 2005, the best-off one percent will receive “only” 19.8 percent of the Bush tax cuts.

* From 2006 through 2009, the share of the tax cuts going to the very rich jumps to 41 percent of the total.

* By 2010, when all of the provisions of the bill—including complete repeal of the estate tax on extremely large estates—are scheduled to be fully in place, 51.8 percent of the tax cuts are targeted to the top one percent.

Those numbers aside, what do you think the majority of the wealthy do with all their money?

a) Use it to open businesses and create jobs paying people a living wage.

b) Stow it away in Swiss bank accounts, invest in property and in expensive luxury items made in other countries that do very little to help the American economy.

My white trash neighbors have a kid that yells and screams all day and I have missed out on some VERY valuable naps (I have a baby and I am a single mother, so sometimes I get hardly ANY sleep). I went over there today and asked in the most polite way I knew how if they could consider asking him not to yell so loud. Both the husband and wife came out in their dirty clothing and said they'd never ask me something like that and that he's only 4, and what are they supposed to do, etc. Then after I went inside, the woman came outside and yelled loudly at her husband that "It's not our problem! It's HERS!!!" I need sleep and I can't have their kid's incessent screaming keep me from it anymore. What can I do?

Bush used the intelligence that was there before and after his Presidency began.

Source(s):

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." - President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998.

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998.

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998.

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." - Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others Oct. 9, 1998.

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998.

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999.

Our Issaquah, government subsidized, low-income senior apartment building where I reside has experienced a sudden influx of senior Chinese recently arrived from mainland China. They are brought here by their adult children who are employed and reside in the Sammamish area. In this year since they began arriving, they have become the majority of residents. They receive government stipends and pay as little as $6 per month rent. They are daily visitors to the local food bank. Apartments that become available are rented to these newly arrived Chinese. They do not speak English and naturally do not work. Those of us "old-timers" suspect a scam is in progress. In order to stay in the US, I suspect their adult children agree to support and maintain these elderly parents but with the complicity of our building owners and manager, they turn that responsibility over to we the taxpayers. I believe such a scam would be well worth the while of all involved. What do you think?

Right to life: meaning the right to live and exist.

If a woman doesn't want the baby then she is allowed to kill it. If the woman wants the baby, then that baby is afforded the right to life and anyone else who takes that life is a murderer.

I asked this in a previous question, but I don't think many people fully understand the implications of this double standard.

Both abortion(in most circumstances) and inducing an unwanted abortion (in all circumstances) is an abomination.

The simple fact is you can't have individual people deciding who has the right to life and who doesn't. Either the law needs to state that abortions(in most cases) are illegal, or inducing an unwanted abortion needs to be nothing more than assault.

Can someone tell me if an officer can radar you from the front of your car?

Does this sound legit: Officer pulls out of his parking area, into (four lane highway) the driving lane. I moved over to the passing lane while officer was still parked. Doing no more then posted speed limit. Officer then pulls me over from the driving lane while I am still in the passing lane (Changed to passing lane because he was parked on the side of the road near driving lane). He motions out his window for me to pull over instead of pulling up behind me to pull me over. Soon as I moved back into driving lane car that had been trailing me pulled around my car and police car and passed both of us. It too

Officer then did not state my speeding, although I knew it was around 10 miles over (Cruise control set). When I got home to actually read the ticket he had me marked at 29 miles over the speed limit. It took about a 1/4 mile for him to even attempt to pull me over.

I have always said I would regardless of the outcome.Remember the lady in the Scott Peterson jury, the press called "Strawberry Shortcake"?(She looked like the cartoon character).I always thought she would write a book.I think she should have. Not to profit from Laci's death , but to give an acount of what was going on in that jury room.
