It really peeves me off that the government complains it has no money to fix roads etc,yet we have thousands of people too lay to get their behinds to get a job. Why can't the governemnt make them work in order to receive a cheque every month. I don't care if they walk the streets picking up garbage or mowing lawns. Make them work like the rest of us do. This way the government has more money to put where it is needed. It is bad enough they get full medical and dental coverage. People who own a small business have to pay for all their own medical and dental.
Do you agree or disagree??????

Pulling out now would have a devastating effect on our country, rendering Iraq defenseless against becoming a terrorist state. A country with the resources that Iraq has would become a base for terrorists worldwide. The question is, can and will the Democrats pullout before we have finished?

Here's mine: get all U.S. military out of the middle east and get the U.N. to air-drop (on the U.S.s behalf and expense) humanitarian aid packages (food, clothing, water...etc) until we've appeased them (yep, appeased) for the damage we've caused and the greater damage we've inspired. For those who say "It's not us, it's the terrorists. We're there to help." Get a grip. The terrorists, insurgents etc. wouldn't be there if we weren't. Reconstruction efforts were a joke and a scam. We blew it big and we should make it right.

I live in a very bigoted community and county in Oregon and I have unfortunately had to file a few cases here and there is a great deal of bigotry. I need to pay an attorney to remove my cases from this county and into another diverse county and court, i.e., Multnomah County, Oregon where they can be heard fairly and by more diverse judges.

Where I am now, there is a great deal of bigotry and blatant violations of the law and the judge makes rude and nasty comments to me even though they are unwarranted and I don't want to lose my cases based on a bigoted court not conducting themselves within the law. The bigots I speak of are White or course.

I want to pay an attorney to get my cases removed from this county and into a more diverse county where they can be heard fairly & with the potential of an African American judge &/or jury because when African Americans are involved in such matters involving other AA's the propensity for racism to prevail is lessened greatly. Help pls. TY

I work in Texas. I carry a company issued cell phone 24 hours a day and I am required to answer it at all time. We are being issued new phones next week. These new phones have GPS tracking capabilities. We have been told that we will not be tracked. However I know for a fact that the boss has already set the service up to track the phones. Can they legally track the phone 24 hours a day even when I am not at work.

Hi everyone,
I am currently a high school senior wanting to do something with my life. Last week an Army recruiter called me, and since I like to give any opportunity a chance, I accepted a talk with him. He showed me opportunities and what I can do. So he took me to the recruiting station and gave me a lot of information and I took the pretest scoring a 95, which made him very excited.
I found the Air Force and Navy offices next door and got their information and I like them better than the Army.
So here is the question:
I took the ASVAB (Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery) and got a 97 on it. So I can have any job I want, so if I do choose to enlist I would like to go into intelligence with a specialty in Russian (I already speak the equivalent of Russian III if I took it as a class) and another language.
So would the Navy or Air Force be better for me and the field I would like to work in? And also, what is the best way for me to tell the Army guy no?

As could be expected from the Dems and their partner in crime, Al Qaida, they are both hailing the elections as a defeat to the war effort in Iraq. Just recently Al Qaida released a tape praising the results by stating "The American people have put their feet on the right path by ... realizing their president's betrayal in supporting Israel," the terror leader said. "So they voted for something reasonable in the last elections."

Al Qaida has also said that they are winning the war in Iraq, much like the Dems.

Is anyone else concerned about the fact that Republicans have been warning that the Dems are content with losing the war and allowing Al Qaida to kill more innocent Americans? Is anyone concerned that Al Qaida is happy about the recent election results? Every other election they were pissed that Republicans kept control. Not this time.

Please read the article and respond.

The Specter-Cheney compromise would allow NSA warrantless surveillance on Americans both domestically and overseas. The compromise includes an immunity provision sought by the telecom industry for both private sector and government employees, who may have already provided private information without the proper warrants or national security letters.

The American people have a right to know the extent of these violations. If retroactive immunity is provided, we the people will lose all leverage to encourage testimony that sheds light on what happened.

What do you think should be done? Remember the 4th Amendment?

Ok so I am walking on the street listening to my IPOD and I am obviously not paying 100% attention to whats going on. Plus I got a huge headache from waking up and took an advil so I totally feel like a computer. This guy is riding on his bike and crashed into me(to his defense I doubt he saw me) but still what the hell is he doing on a pedestrian walkway in the first place. Anyway I decide to play it cool and keep walking even though he was close to breaking my arm if he wasnt going a few miles more. So he catches up to me and asks are u all right? I sarcastically respond: Yeah my arm aint broke I am fine. I either mistook his intentions or he realized its all cool and decided to push me a little so he rudely said: How about asking me if i am all right? U should watch where u are f...ing going. I got pissed and told him that he should be lucky I am not American otherwise I would charge him. He muttered something and rode off. So is this crap in any way my fault or he is just insane?

step 2 ... simply defeat america without any problem due to their consistent run of war defeats and blunders.
step 3 ... send john major to run the USA for comedy purposes
result ... no more stupid wars declared by yanks and fought by britain.

good idea or back to the drawing board ?

Homeless person handed me a small leather pouch with snap containing a metal St. Christopher's cross and a plastic SC cross, the latter on a handwoven string necklace. In the pouch is a note written long ago (per appearance) that says: "John's Given to him by a priest during W.W. II (while captured)" On outside of leather pouch are initials J.C. carved in. Anyone know a resource I can contact to see if an organization traces these kinds of things back to a family?
