From my research the two, crime and deviance are usually not discussed together, they are generally posted into different subjects, but I need to know for a researc paper in criminology how I would describe the difference, in detail between deviance and criminality, one article said, all people are some what deviant but not everyone is a criminal, what would you say to that?

I just came back from Japan and I was blown away, politics, foriegn policy and crazy right wing religious nuts aside the quality of life is so much better there. Not only do they live longer they are happier, their cities are clean, employment is abundent, education standards are high and they retain a rich culture while innovating with technology and science. Not only Japan, Switzerland and France for two should be models for us.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

The terrorism has been condoned and excused as too dangerous to handle. If we do not stop it, it will become unstoppable and than we will pay the price for becoming serious on stopping it. It must be controlled.

Do you speak Mexican? ( only after a few corona's!)

In America we only speak English! ( we have no official language)

In America we only wave the AMERICAN flag! ( thats it no more pride days for anyone, who is gonna be the one to tell the Irish?)

Only Mexicans are illegals!

Why should I learn Mexican ( they meant Spanish but you know, ignorance again) when the English is spoken in more places!

We are not like them central and south American countries where Mexico is located at, I know I have a map!

I missed a lot but after seeing yet another person say Mexican is a language I had to have another beer and laugh. Do you honestly expect people to take you serious when statements/questions like this are made? I know you will find some to counter it but this is in good humor so do not blow a coronary over it!

Yeah, yeah yeah, I know if I can dish it out then I have to accept it as well. Illegals do all the hard work, only after an honest living etc etc. Just be nice!

Look at how many problems we have involving alchohol. If people can't control themselves when drunk, how would they able to control themselves while influenced by marijuana use, or both? They both cloud judgement and in my opinion, keep it illegal. At least people will use some caution when using it. I would hate to think of a drunk, high person on the road thinking it is ok to do so because they are legal. Control one better before legalizing another one and causing more problems. What do you all think?

Public Broadcasting Station, how Senator Goldwater would be appalled if he saw how the religious right has taken over the Conservative Party. Smiley referred to Goldwater as an American icon and pointed to Goldwater's views in the book written by Goldwater, 'The Conscience of a Conservative'.

Was CC Goldwater right about the strong differences between the Goldwater concept of being a conservative and the modern day Conservative Party?

Are you a conservative and are you satisfied with the direction of the Conservative Party in matters of abortion, education, civil rights, President Bush, etc.?

Your thoughts as a conservative or a liberal, remembering U.S. Senator John Kennedy and U.S. Senator Goldwater served in the U.S. Senate at the same time and were friends and knew each other very well.

yes, we all see these lame *ss questions all the time... but h*ll, I'll throw my hat into this ring of lameness... (which always has the same answer of "somewhere in between and most people don't fit exactly into any political camp")

my foremost issue is Osama and getting him and diverting all military efforts to this end, regaurdless of political repercussions... we went in Iraq for the pansy reason of "WMD" that totally destabilized their country, but we can't go after Osama who killed 3,000 on U.S. soil? Pakistan seems to be either playing both sides or couldn't do anything if it wanted too... either way, we need to step in and do the job...

my second issue health care... I'm pro-social medicine and believe that you can't put a price on good health, so it can't work in capitolism... as skyrocketing prices seem to show...

third issue... poverty... I think there should be large changes to welfare and that vocational education programs should be put into place...

I wants to know about the right to information of the pulic regarding selection, posting, transfer and expences by the government for the judges of all level of different countries. Judicial work is not a simple administartive work, so the authority must take care in all above issues if there is any descrimination or selectiveness of teh authority whether public can know the reason for such act? WHy judiciary can not be covered under the right to information or discloser of information principal so that public can know that why some one is selected or not selected as a judge and what are the criteria for selection, posting, transfer, actions in case of misconduct and more particularly the expences being spend for them.

as long as unverifiable paperless e-voting prevails (and what is to stop it?), the United States will be, for all practical purposes, a one-party dictatorship.

first off,,,,,911 happened on bushs watch, so AFTER 911 we are going to keep track of how many die?..ignore the 3000, NOW we're really trying.

why should the terrorists risk their time and effort attacking US soil when they can take out US soldiers everyday?..bush has provided americans for them to kill on a daily basis w/o leaving the region.
