My mother-in-law has been denied a tourist visa to come visit her 3 month old grandson in the United States. Who's fault do you think it is that she cannot get the visa? She has no intention to stay beyond her visa, as the Embassy presumes. It's almost like since she is not a US citizen, she is presumed to be guilty, and the burden of proof is on her to prove she won't overstay her visa. Is this the right attitude for our government to have, given our immigration issues? Can't I take responsibility for making sure she returns to the Phils?
My answer is that her fellow countrymen are allowed to come to the US on visas because they have money, and then stay longer than their visas allows Why doesn't our government police this?

Are people stupid or something? Why do they believe that most terror plots are carried out by these retard groups? Lot's of the "terrorism" plots were staged by governments to get laws passed to control the people and create hysteria so the public will look at the government as the hero.
With the recent plot to blow airlines over the atlantic, and the fact that government agencies pay, provide equipment, and entrap retards to carry out terrorist plots, how can I believe the government is telling the truth?
Even an idiot can come to the same conclusion - not trusting a consistent, pathological liar such as the government.

Why are Republicans so afraid of terrorists that they blindly give away all of their own rights? In the past, true patriots were willing to die to preserve those rights. Personally, I think it's time to not be so politically correct and acknowledge that the majority (NOT ALL) of terrorism is committed by people of Arabic descent. It seems to make more sense to me to profile people in order to save lives, rather than be PC and ignore that fact. While that would not stop everyone, as in the British converts to Islam that participated in the plot to blow up flights over the Atlantic, it sure would help (the others involved were Arabic). It seems like that would cut out of lot of BS work such as checking out the granny flying with her grandkids and allow us to more properly use our resources.
