Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that, if you don't happen to agree with a liberal, it's pretty much a given that you're stupid, evil, or both? How does this fit with the ideas of "tolerance" and "open-mindedness"?

I read on an "interesting fact" calendar that in 1871, a Pennsylvania man sued "Satan and his Staff" for making his life miserable. The case was thrown out of course.
Is there any research buffs out there that can find more information on this legal case? Could it have been 1971?

Just think about it ? Our leaders do nothing aginst the racist like La Raza or MEChA, out of fear of being called " Racist" , and this whole chain of events leads back to American tax payers becoming angry with the illegal immigrants " rather the individual support hispanic hate groups or not. " thus a circle of suspiction begins.

It is about a 1/2 hour long. Rent it. The people who have seen it, let me know what you think.

Accident of timing (?), proponents of illegal immigration and easy access to American citizenship are planning a march on Washington that will coincide with the declaration by the Mexican court of a winner in the election. They expect, they say, a million people. On the other hand, Members of Congress report that their constituencies at home demand stronger border controls. There is trouble brewing on BOTH sides of the Border. In Mexico, unsuccessful presidential candidate Obrador is threatening to take over the government on 9/16/06. In the USA,especially in the Border states, increasingly fed-up locals are threatening to take matters into their own hands - even if it means civil war !

And i know many other mexican familys who feel the same way. So, how can we be considered racist, when we are all the same race? We are just anti-illegal.

In a day and age where almost everyone in the United States is well read and educated, why does such a government body still exsist?
I personally believe that this institution totally defeats the purpose of democracy, and probably contributes somewhat to the reason many people do not vote (especially after the 2000 elections).
As I will be able to vote this next year, I really can't find it in myself to want to vote when I know that a) the canidates usually suck, and b) the electoral college makes the final descision anyway.
What are your takes on this, and if you do believe in eliminating this institution, how?
Particularly in a day and age where most politicians just care about their own advancement.

My husband is in the Army Reserves. Usually does the weekend thing, but back in October he was given a set of orders to put him on full time duty for a period of 6 months. These orders stated that he will rate per diem. The temporary orders expired in June when the mission was complete and when the orders expired, someone higher up in his division took it upon themselves to add an amendment to the orders stating that he did not rate the per diem. We just received a bill from the Fed. Govt. for $5700.00. The govt. says this is a debt incurred since the amendment to the orders says that per diem wasn't authorized. My question is for any military legal people or S-1 ( I think thats the dpt. that handles pay) people who might have insight to this. Isn't it true that a set of orders is considered a contract and must be kept by both the soldier and the military and if that original contract states that a certain pay is rated, then it must be paid? Someone please enlighten me.

I don't really care what happens to my dad, since he has abandonned us, and we haven't received 1 penny from him every since this hapenned. I've seen many cases like this on television, and families have received citizenship. Please help. Thank You.

Don't say 'because they could be wrong'. Witnesses could be wrong. Evidence could be wrong. Lot's of things could be wrong. From what I've researched, polygraphs are as accurate as the person giving them.

In a way, jury members are lie detectors. How often is a jury required to figure out who is lying?

There has to be some other reason these are not allowed in court.

Is this part of the "free trade agreement"?

Eighty percent of meth comes from Mexican drug cartels operating in the desolate expanses of central and southern California. Enterprising individuals armed with orange rubber hoses stretched like octopus arms across gas torches heating Big Gulp cups of isopropyl alcohol can make about 280 doses per concoction -- provided there's enough cat litter to absorb stray toxins. With commercial-grade lab equipment, a single basement can churn out close to a million units every two days using high-thread-count Martha Stewart linens to filter solids from liquids. The Oregonian reports that California's Central Valley, according to Fresno prosecutor Carl M. Faller Jr, is "Columbia for meth".

And they sure do work hard at it! How many lives have they made better?
