Why would reading the definitions matter?
The administration makes up any facts it wants to justify its actions, and a little thing like the wrong definition of words wouldn't even be noticed in the hype.
Similarly, your use of the definition is absolute correct as applied to the administration. But the American people don't care, and aren't likely to do anything about it, so that also doesn't matter.

Uh, I disagree senor. I agree that just like the communists, the leaders are all the same. (Rumsfeld is a fascist Stalin was a fascist, Kennedy was a fascist all of the leaders are) However, if you ever meet a Muslim terrorist (not a soldier in a country which the govt deme as terrorists but a real terrorist) that is the exact definition. I've been to gitmo, and taken proven terrorists down in Iraq (Fallujah), that is them dude, not everything the govt says is a lie, just most of it. Corporatism could only be defined by the rich shieks who fund the terror. As far as autocrats... come on, I think that forcing religion on people (through penalty of death for converting from the govt, and terrorists killing christians or other religions) meets that definition. Extreme nationalism or "ethnic pride"....HMMM Sunni....Shia.... no more needed to be said. Militarism, marching in streets in total war gear (aka Suicide bomber vests, women in sherkas carrying ak47's and Rpgs as well as children doing the same in demo's) Anti anarchism... I would say a theocracy is about as far away from anarchy as you can get. Anti communism this one i would say is more them. Anti liberalism....ok they don't want to get away from theocracies (the actual definition to liberalism is.....change) that country hasn't changed in five hundred years (not technology but paths of thought and philosophy) no enlightenment, no industrial revolution and most importantly no reformation or counter reformation... the CHANGES that make up important western society. So you got one for 12345...7 right. They are fascists sir. Read the definitions to your defintions

Yes the definition does comport well with this administration’s foreign policy and domestic positions. Of course the irony will never register in the minds of Donald Rumsfield. After all, the self-righteous never see the error of their own ways. They can only see what is depraved in others. The Bush administration, Republicans, and most Neocons are essentially the political Pharisees of our times.
Another reason why it never dons on them that they are just as much fascistic as Bin Laden, if not more so, is because they don’t take language or other intellectual pursuits seriously. Bush, with all his verbal bumbling, doesn’t even take the time to pronounce simple words properly, or use them in the proper context. So do you think that Bush, or his cohorts, care if they employ the world “fascist” hypocritically?

Hmmm, complicated... i think the main common concern maximum folk think of is whilst 2 or extra human beings meet on the line, and the two through insults and scoffs or a mutual dislike for another (and additionally through fact all events fairly want it) issues amplify right into a actual altercation. And, nicely, for people who're nonetheless not mature sufficient to appreciate that a so-referred to as "highway combat" is terrific prevented - heck, the justifications for a combat on the line might desire to be prevented in the previous each and every thing - "prevailing" is needless to say the main serious element. walking far off from a combat does not do plenty for ones ego. subsequently each and all of the questions approximately the thank you to win a highway combat. you realize, I constantly ask your self the way it could be like for each and all of the annoying middle and professional highway combatants right here in the event that they got here right here, to Indonesia, or another coming up Asian u . s . a .. right here, a "highway combat" often contains a minimum of a dozen indignant those with machetes, and the police often has no pastime in intervening. Heck, often one party is subsidized with the help of the police. Makes you delight in all those instructors who carry forth avoidance and coffee risk habit... yet, howdy, it fairly is the internet! i'm in simple terms grateful that for the time of an umoderated communicate board like Y!A i will see adult males such as you, Aaron J, Shihan J, nwohioguy, judomofo, pugpaws, and all the different TCs.

The answer to current world events lies in the book 1984....... dependent on which side of a conflict you are on will determine the use of derogatory terms such as "facsism". We in the west do not wish to consider the reasons behind "terrorist" activities, indeed there is not yet an internationally recognised definition for the word as it applies today. Recently, it was said to me that anyone who plants a bomb beside a road with the intention of inflicting injury on others is a terrorist, but dropping a 5oo lb bomb from a plane on innocent civilians is an act of patriotism. It's all about perspective and who decides what is good for who.

Rumfeld needs a term that will fire up Americans, because he is running scared.
Don't get me wrong though I believe we would be fighting terrorism one way or the other anyway, it does exist, internal, and external.
They should be careful, and any administration should be careful of how they present an argument to the American people.
Perhaps we should not have started in Iraq, but we had to start some place.
We are all left to fill in the blanks.
The only thing that I am left to feel is that you start blowing up my buildings, my people , and scaring my children, I want definitive action fast.
I know I sound confused too, just like a lot of Americans I am left to fill in the blanks.

100% Agreed.
The problem is that the US propaganda machine has worked so well that most don't even realize their being fed propaganda. The media has so divided our country across political lines that only radical change will ever unite us to save our Constitution. Those who have dug their media directed trenches have no clue that they've also dug our national grave.
Ronald Dumbsfeld isn't nearly as dumb as you might think. He's following a long planned prescription for global tyranny supported by an indoctrinated US population. The GOP/Dem party has usurped our nation. There's no turning back unless we overcome the media driven call to divide us.
Divide and conquer - the oldest game in the book. It's time to stop digging our trenches and realize what we're up against.

Actually, fascism is a left wing idealogy. Fascism, just like national socialism (nazism), communism, socialism and now liberals, all come out of marxist thought. That's what ties them all together. And it's the reason why these various evil idealogies tend to form alliances. This is the link with islam, which repeatedly and aggressively allies itself with all of these....hence the claim that they are fascists. The REASON these various evil people work together is the common goals of genocide. Perhaps the most disturbing are the liberals. The traitors in our own country can't do this themselves because of the rule of law. But, they work tirelessly and often successfully to allow the other evil people to kill others without intervention from the west.
This is, of course, the point of your post. What you are attempting to do is cover up the fact that islam is evil and is out in the open as wanting to take over the world using extreme violence and reduce as many people in the world as possible to abject slavery if not kill them outright. The reason you do this is to help them succeed. That makes you a monster. And most people in this country are waking up to what you are and what you are doing and why.

Since when has "definition" been important. When Wee Willie Clinton was testifying he said,
It all depends upon what YOUR definition of is is"
All around the country people are falling in love with sweet corn, celery, green shoes, sausages, The Green Bay Packers or anything else that can fit into "I love ......"
When your language is corrupted so is everything else about you 'cause you think with your language and what you think is what you are.
Some of the Street Language around our country, maybe even around the world, is so full of flaws and inconsistent meanings that people can lie, embellish and exaggerate so that everything is nothing and nothing is everything.
Today, not even the speaker knows what he/she is talking about.

The 14 Characteristics of Fascism
by Lawrence Britt
Spring 2003
Free Inquiry magazine
Political scientist Dr. Lawrence Britt recently wrote an article about fascism ("Fascism Anyone?," Free Inquiry, Spring 2003, page 20). Studying the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia), and Pinochet (Chile), Dr. Britt found they all had 14 elements in common. He calls these the identifying characteristics of fascism. The excerpt is in accordance with the magazine's policy.
The 14 characteristics are:
Powerful and Continuing Nationalism
Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottoes, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.
Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights
Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.
Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause
The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.
Supremacy of the Military
Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.
Rampant Sexism
The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.
Controlled Mass Media
Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.
Obsession with National Security
Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
Religion and Government are Intertwined
Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.
Corporate Power is Protected
The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.
Labor Power is Suppressed
Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed .
Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts
Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.
Obsession with Crime and Punishment
Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.
Rampant Cronyism and Corruption
Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.
Fraudulent Elections
Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.
sound familiar?
