How long is The big USA going to stay in power?

For example- V for Vendetta America is a pathetic country that is begging britain for recources. How much longer is americas wrath going to last before we are shut down and turned into a nothing that looks to other countries for help

its not just that movie that it could be compared to, but history. How long do things like this last?

What separates the US from all other nations?

Simple. Resources. That is what gives any nation the potential for power. The US has volumes of untapped resources. We are in no danger of losing our energy supply. We can function quite happily on coal for electricity, and contrary to what most people believe, we CAN survive without the middle east for oil (It would take some doing, and a period of discomfort, but it's quite feasible.)

We have the largest grain production potential in the world, so we are in no danger whatsoever of running out of food (the US literally feeds the planet.) We have fresh water, land, lumber, minerals, ores, virtually everything a society needs to thrive. The US could be completely self-sufficient if it HAD to be, so there is no way we will ever not be a first world nation.

The reason we are #1 is because we have resources combined with an educated, intelligent, industrious, FREE population. Forget all the dumb stereotypes of lazy youth, fat cat corporations, trees rotting from within. It all means nothing. America truly is the land of the FREE, and the home of the BRAVE. This is the one country on earth where every citizen is free to become whatever they want, anytime they want. Every citizen has limitless index of possibilities, and that is the most empowering thing any human being can experience. An empowered population is unstoppable. Put American's to the test and we always rise to the occasion because every American knows that is what this country offers, and we will never give it up.

I admit some people are coasting on the hard work and past glories of previous generations, but not all of us. Don't underestimate Americans. Everyone in the world knows that this is where you come if you want to make it. That is still true to this day, and it's never going to change.

The USA is just like Russa and are both too strong at the minute to fall.

What will happen is at some point all countries will stand behind the UN and start inforceing it's rullings. So all countries will come together as one world power. That is where it can get scary because there is no protection if there is only ruling body. However it would be the best way for humans to move on to other worlds. If we was to find a world out there with life on it at our level you would find out that we would be Earth People and not black, white or anything else. .USA, Russa or iran or what ever. Just Earth People.

There will be changes and we will all be one united as a people not a race. Or we could go the other way and kill ourselfs out before we can get united..

It depends on when the people wake up.... pandering to the enemy will be our downfall. Stop trying to "understand" the people that are trying to kill us and just kill them!

Then tell the america hating media that we don't need them anymore. Which is obvious due to the HUGE increase in popularity of predominatelly conservative talk radio in the last 5 to 10 years.

EDIT: JimB, how can you expect the UN to get **** figured out ever?! The UN has placed dictatorships on the security council. You'll never sanction yourself? The UN is the most corrupt organization on the planet, and they NEVER accomplish anything. The UN has been tip toeing around and playing damn tiddlywinks with North Korea for months! And guess what, they've accomplished nothing except give them more time to build the bombs.

America is on a slide and it's down hill fast.

How to stop it? Break up the Monopoly's and bring back the Mom and Pop opportunity's.

Stop the giveaways to illegals. We are paying them to come here.

Stop the tax breaks and grants to Arabs who are getting our Hotels and gas stations. If you are going to give anything away give it to the people who have lost their jobs to out sourcing.

Throw out all of the Liberals and most of the Conservatives. Start with all Democrats from the dog catcher up. Kill the tree from the root and it will not sprout back. Then when the radical courts are thrown out, we can work of the Republican party. If we do not stop the Democrats first there will not be a second chance.

I dont know.....but our nation used to be the strongest and powerful nation and now thats changing.......I think that if we cant pull it together we're going to getting weaker and weaker and its going to show to other countries, and that'll suck.
