Jehovah's Witnesses understand the Scriptures to teach that God's Kingdom will soon replace all earthly governments.
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
That Kingdom will rule over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Until that resurrection, there is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire
While a limitted number of humans will be resurrected to heaven to share in ruling over mankind, the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]
Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

Nope. It won't be corporations that cause this NWO you speak of, it will be the government. The government that now has black boxes in every (so far GM) vehicle. [Sarcasm]But don't worry, you own the black box, so it's ok, your rights won't be violated![/sarcasm] If you break the law, or they suspect you broke the law then they are taking your black box and you are getting prosecuted! Of course they say it won't happen, but it will, people don't speak out and then when it happens they look all confused!
Wake up people! First it's a box in your car, then it's a box that has a WiFi uplink. Then it's an transmitter in your smoke detector at home. Where you smoking weed? Did you say BOMB?!
The gov't and corporations may cause this NWO, but PEOPLE will be guilty by direct association. People need to wake up. Big brother is not your friend.

The new world order has already been around for the past two hundred years. It started with America's independence. Before that it had been administered by the British East India Company and the Dutch West India Company. They merged near Albany, New York, and the new, New World Order was born.

Does it really matter if I or we are ready?
I am not saying that to be critical of your question or position, please. I am saying that because I do accept that I am not the one who does determine the future of the world. I just accept each day at a time and in my view do what I think is necessary to prepare for it. No more or no less.
That tends to keep my life simple and allows me to be content with whatever does happen. Did not say I will like it but then since I did not do it I will not be blamed for it.
I also see money is power and since I am not rich and do not desire to be rich, I am not looking at, to, or the responsibility of control. Yes, I see the CEO of a corporation some day calling all the shots.

Yeah. And if you really want to get tripped out about it, read Aldous Huxley's "A Brave New World." Maybe it won't happen for another 50 years and I'll be out of here by then.
I'm afraid in the scenario you paint, "skipping out to the mountains" would not be an option anymore. Satellite infrared detectors would take care of any heat-sources in the mountains.

We need to break up the Monopoly's for sure. Wal mart and Microsoft etc., but the real threat is the Liberal left and it's kissing up to socialism.
When Dillary gets in we will probably have a set of gray pajamas and maybe one slice of bread a day. If we are lucky.

Now that would be kewl. .I can't wait to operate one of them laser blasters. The trick would be to work for one of the corporations and that way it would be you that says who gets zaped or get to do the zapppin if you are lucky. If you are the zaper person then you would rule because you could zap anyone who you wanted rid of and anyone that came to get you over it.
I can't wait..
Do you know which corps will be doing this and if they are takin apps yet?
