Why don't you reword your question to say; "What woman would make a good president?"

The reason for the suggestion is that you make it sound like out of 300 milliion people (over half of which are women) that it is some impossible feat to find one woman that could be president.

There are millions of women who qualify and could do a better job than the last president. This country needs to wake up and get with the program when it comes to women in a high office, we are behind the rest of the world.

Most conservative women buy into the crap that a woman's place is at home in the kitchen so unless you want a president that is better at baking cookies rather than making decisions on a national scale, you'd probably want a more modern woman to be a president.

Senator Elizabeth Dole (former President Bob Dole's wife) of North Carolina has been mentioned, and she is certainly active in the Republican party. It doesn't look like she's headed for the Presidency at this time, even though she sought nomination in 1999. She probably would be a great Vice President, and has the background to step up to the Presidency. Born in 1936, she is also a "good age" for the job. Check her accomplishments on Wikipedia or her own web page.

No. Everyone's favorite Condi Rice is an apologist for Bush and a female Bush clone and wouldn't stand any more of a chance of being elected than you or I would.

Tipper Gore is not a conservative - need some one with Margaret Thatchers credibility and I don't think the US has someone.

Condoleeza Rice would make a great president. She is brilliant, open, informed, and qualified. She would also most likely win if she ever ran, no matter who ran against her.

Oh, liberal joke! The devil goes up to Hillary Clinton and says "I'll give you every material possesion you desire, if you give me the souls of the people who voted for you". Hillary thinks about it and says "Sorry, can't. All ready promised 'em to Osama!".
