What did the Police officer lie about? Was it the wrong address? Was the house discription wrong? Did the officer claim there was something in the house that was not or what. If you contacted IA then they will investigate it and they will tell you what course of action was or will be taken. Too many variables to give you an answer to your question without knowing the facts.

There is a saying,"the law is the law" how ever as anyone with a mind knows that does not really apply to everyone. The police officer should face the same charges that anyone else does when they provide false information. But since the event has already happened it will be up to your attorney to bring this matter to the courts attention, by filing the necessary motions. And on that note: you will have to prove that he lied. And since the courts jive the arresting officer, the benefit of the doubt, with out proof, you are most likely screwed. SORRY.

they could do a pat down of the outdoors of your clothing for weapons in the event that they have functional suspicion which you're able to desire to be carrying some thing which could injury them. To do an entire seek, they could desire to have your permission, a warrant, in all probability reason, or they could desire to arrest you first. in case you particularly tell them which you do not supply consent to a seek and that they do besides with out any of the standards above, then it is an unlawful seek and your criminal expert could have any data discovered thrown out as "fruit of the poisoned tree". they could ask you to show out your wallet, misinform you, etc., yet once you tell them no, then the respond isn't any. And those protections pass the two for minors to boot as adults. the only distinction is that once you're arrested, they can't question you in any respect with out the two criminal representation (a criminal expert) or your parent / criminal mom or father present.

Depends on who you are and who he or she is, and it also depends on who does the judging, but if as your question implies, you are innocent and the cop did lie, then you are doing the right thing. You need some legal assistance.
You can also call information and ask for a Lawyer Referral to a Criminal Lawyer.

He & his statement should be checked out by internal affairs. What happens next should depend on their findings and how serious the lie is. For example, did he lie about where you kicked him, or what?

He will be promoted, if the department is like most. Rewards convictions, at all costs. There is a very thin line between the cops and robbers -

At the very least, he will be administratively sanctioned (if it was proven that he lied). If you added harassment or unjust vexation to your complaint, he might even go through summary dismissal proceedings.
