Accident of timing (?), proponents of illegal immigration and easy access to American citizenship are planning a march on Washington that will coincide with the declaration by the Mexican court of a winner in the election. They expect, they say, a million people. On the other hand, Members of Congress report that their constituencies at home demand stronger border controls.There is trouble brewing on BOTH sides of the Border. In Mexico,unsuccessful presidential candidate Obrador is threatening to take over the government on 9/16/06. In the USA,especially in the Border states,increasingly fed-up locals are threatening to take matters into their own hands - even if it means civil war !

There's very little consequence to breaking the laws at many levels of the US government.

And with the number of people who seem to want to disregard judicial opinions or criminal sentences just because they don't like the results, that's not likely to change any time soon.
