The Republican's motto is small government and balance budget as well as a small federal deficit. The current deficit is Huge, it's Real and somewhere along the line we as a Nation are going to have to pay for it. How do you propose we do so or should we just leave it to our Children to handle our mess?

Did the Democrats who ran a political dynasty in the 60's have the same fighting between ideolgical factions as the Republicans do now? There are moderate, conservative and the ultra-right Republicans and they constantly fight over the direction of the party. Before becoming a homogenous party representing the left, did the Democrats fight amongst themselves like the Republican factions do now?

-Blacks
-Asians
-Native Americans
-Irish
-Germans
-Australians
-Africans
-Mexicans
-Other Latinos or Hispanics

The majority of America..

All want illegals deported too, So don't try to make it seem as if Whites are the only race that is against illegal immigration.

And this is coming from a Black woman.

And stop using the word "gringo".

For instance, I hear things on here all day, that people would shoot illegal immigrants if need be, or that they would like to... do you think if this got heated enough in the US, that you could resort to violence?

Or just the Bush loving, brainless, real-public-kunts?

People in Alaska are starting to freak out. The retreat of the sea ice allows the oceans to pound the coast more, and villages there are suffering from the effects of that erosion. There is melting, roads are buckling, there are forests that have been infested with beetles because of a rise in temperatures. I think residents there feel it's visible more and more, more than any other place in the country.

It's ok World, when the **** hits the fan, just blame it on those pesky Americans. Who apparently, seem to be behaving like they live on a different planet then the rest of us.

This Florida Republican politician, U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris, believes that the separation of church and state is "a lie" and believes that God and the founding fathers did not intend for the the country (the U.S.A.) to be a "a nation of secular laws." She was also quoted as saying, "If you're not electing Christians, then in essence you are going to legislate sin."

What are your thoughts about her statements?
