The majority of America..

All want illegals deported too, So don't try to make it seem as if Whites are the only race that is against illegal immigration.

And this is coming from a Black woman.

And stop using the word "gringo".

Good girl. Love your take. What the hell does ' gringo ' mean, anyway? As a kid I thought it was somebody stupid enough to sign a contract and appear in a series of B grade westerns by John Ford. And I speak Spanish!!!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! I am not White, yet that's all I hear too! It's not immigration, it's the legality of the situation that has us all in a tizzy. And saying it's all about the Whites and calling us all 'gringo's just proves that it's more about race to them than it is us. Like they want us to forget that illegals come from places other than Mexico (1% of illegals in the States are Canadian). I think it's just easier for them to generalize it as a Latino vs White problem, but it doesn't solve any problems. It's a terrible tragedy when people can't debate something rationally.

And in response to the "land of opportunity" gal:
We have the right as citizens! Exercise yours in any fashion you see fit. But when I exercise my rights, I want others to come here LEGALLY like my Immigrant Husband. I want them to respect the laws we have forged and uphold. This land of opportunity is for all, this is true. But opportunities come with hard work. Illegals often site how hard it is to get in legally. They don't want hard work, they want easy money! This is a Capitalist Democratic Republic! THERE IS NO EASY MONEY. THERE ARE NO FREE RIDES. THERE ARE NO OPPORTUNITIES WITHOUT EFFORT.

Again,you asked a great question.
It may not be the fact that 15 million "mexicans" has drifted across our border.
It may not be the fact that "white" people hate mexicans.
Could it be:
That 15,000,000- FIFTEEN MILLION -15 MILLION Fu*king green or blue people has entered the United States illegally.
Could it be:
That good American men & women; Black, white, and the above mentioned, despise the fact that 15 million "people" have entered this country,"ILLIGALLY",and is working for cash money, not paying taxes like we have to do,and sending the money back home to another country?
You stated coming from a black woman,I dont think it matters what color you are. What matters is you are a true American woman that dont want her country invaded by ILLIGAL mexicans.

I dont know. I'm hispanic myself and am against.

By the way, in a lot of Spanish-speaking countries, gringo isn't used to be offensive.

People believe in laws and obeying the law, Illegal immigration is breaking the law.

Words of wisdom ... :) I agree ... it really is about illegal immigration, not ethnicity .... so glad you brought that up ... :)

Mendi ... recent polls state that about 80% of Americans are against illegal immigation ... that is a majority if I'm not mistaken ....

Yes, yes, yes. I have been waiting to hear from Black people on this issue for a long time. Thank you for your intelligent question.

People want to make this into a race issue, which it is not.

It is a legal issue, plain and simple.
