Nope-I knew it as soon as he opened his mouth. He just seemed he was lying. You could tell by his eyes and his body language.
What a cruel hoax for the family.

I'm not surprised. His statements and "confession" struck me as odd from the beginning. He could have a pathological desire for attention or delusions of guilt in which a person becomes utterly convinced that they committed a crime when in fact they didn't. This case has been, and continues to be, so badly bungled that we may never find the real killer.

I'm not surprised. Knew from the beginning he was sick, but not the killer.

Kept up with it in the news mostly to see just how badly the Boulder DA handled the mess. After all the bad press when the murder occurred, I can't believe 10 years later they still screw it up.

He still has to deal with California charges and probably the repayment of the money spent on getting him back to Colorado. Saying no match on his DNA, is not sayiing the DNA has not degrated through the years and they could not confirm it.

Nope, not me... even less surprised the Boulder DA PAID to fly him back first class, unfreakinbelievable!

Now let's send this nutball back to Thailand in coach so he can face the child pornography and child sex charges they have waiting for him there, I'm sure they'd just LOVE to see him again.

It doesn't surprise me either. That man was running from something in Thialand. I guess he thought by admitting to Jonbenets murder he would get out of Thialand and be on death row for years. For all we know he might have murdered a child in Thialand and when found guilty they are normally sentenced to death within days of their trial. Death row in the US would given him probably years to appeal.
I hope they send him back to Thialand to face whatever it was he was running from.

Well, they wouldn't have arrested him if they didn't have suspicions, but the media blew it up, waaaay out of proportion. I mean, I know it's a historical case, but it's not like they just knew his name and was like "omg pedo we must arrest for this case!" They had more than what we know on him, but that never meant that he did it.

No, not one bit. This guy conned his way back to the U.S. and ate up all his publicity and controversy. Wouldn't surprise me if he wrote a book!

No. From his first statement, it was obvious that he didn't kill JonBenet. He said he drugged and raped her. However, the original autopsy showed that she did not have any drugs in her system, nor had she been raped.
