I posted a similare question yesterday, a lot of people said it would, but they could not give any hard facts. I want to see some hard facts stating how prices would skyrocket.

Mendi8a - ummm NO, I asked a question for some one to show me facts on how the prices would skyrocket if we lost illegal labor, if you don't have a answer don't click the answer question button and just so you can " BITXH " . If this was some stupid question I would not mind that type of conduct.

This will be interesting ... have searched the net myself high and low, and could only find serious research that produce might "skyrocket" to $10 extra per household per year ... I'm eagerly awaiting to be educated in the matter .......

If welfare & unemployment is scaled back to only the truly needed - those who can not work. They will take the jobs the illegals do now & there will be no change in prices. In the 40s & 50s, even the 20s after stock market crash you worked when job was offered or lived off soup line. I do not want to see people live off soup line but I also am tried of paying for healthy people to stay home & watch TV or do drugs. I have met several who say they do not want to work & unemployment & goverment assistance for their children mean they do not have to work.
They show up at interviews with my husband in T-shirts & shorts 4 sizes too big - gee you think they were considered for job - No.
They knew they would not get job - these are $12-$17 an hour jobs not minimum wage & they can not fill them.

you won't get any good answers, because there is no honest answer to support that stance. The economy will go rolling on JUST fine with lower taxes and honest wages being paid TO legal residents of the United States.

OK here is your fact. All you have to do is go to your local organic food store. By the way that's where I shop. I pay $6 for a gallon of milk, compared to $3. OK now go, and see for yourself. Another fact there has always, and there will always be illegal immigration.
