Is it hard to become a fighter pilot if you didn't go to the naval or air force academy but just a regular university? It's always been my dream to be a fighter pilot but I couldn't make it into the academy because of my citizenship status.

It seems Republicans hate the Dixie Chicks for using the freedom of speech, everything from boycotting to death threats.

question?

President Bush said we were attacked because terrorist "hate" our "freedoms",

if this is true do people who hate that the freedom of speech was used or want revenge or hate the Dixie Chicks because of thier freedom of speech or want to punish them for their freedom of speech........

do they think hate freedom just like the terrorist?


Note that the some will say that there is no freedom from consquences......those consquences include death threats or anything else to stop the continuation of that freedom of speech.

My question to Bush is...

Am I really suppossed to simply believe that a bunch of rag tag, Islamic bums put together the most brilliant, inexspensive attack in human history since the TROJAN HORSE, to destroy the biggest symbols of America, all of which are IN BLUE STATES just so they could make a point ?

am I really suppossed to believe that these ignorant, illiterate sand people did this knowing that they would be bringing down the forces of the greatest military power on Earth on their heads - basically drawing a death sentence for themselves?

Am I suppossed to simply believe Osama Bin Ladin is currently harder to find than Jesus?

I suppose Iraq had WMD too?

Two things to know before you read below: Marines are taught 1) Keep your priorities in order and 2) Know when to act without hesitation.


A Marine was attending a college course between missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. The professor, an avowed atheist, shocked the class one day when he walked in, looked toward the ceiling, and said loudly, "God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes."


The lecture room fell silent and the professor began his lecture. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am God - still waiting."


It got down to the last minute when the Marine stood up, walked toward the professor and threw his best punch knocking him off the platform and out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat down.


The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence. The professor came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, "What the hell is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"

lately to my yahoo email account i have been reciving numerous emails that are basically variations on the nigerian scam letter, though lately they seem to mostly come from england or some other african country, to what authority do i report these scam emails to? And am i risking anything by sending them sarcastic replys like somehow violating yahoos terms of service if i am rude in replying to them? Do i report them to some US authority or is there an international agency that deals with this? interpol or law enforcement in the given country, and how do i even know where these folks are? Can i somehow put the email in the hands of law enforcement that runs stings on these scamers? That is what i would most like to do.

Should the Dalai Lama encourage an armed group to be formed to protect Tibet? He could have an organization that he could publically disavow capture some Chinese soldiers. It wouldn't be necessary to harm the soldiers, but China would be sure to retaliate and probably kill some civilians. The international community would then put pressure on China to leave Tibet before more civilians are hurt or killed.

If so how? All I ever hear is "terrorist hate us because of Bush, he is an %@^*!". Before I vote for a liberal I want to hear the plan. Name calling is not a plan. How would a liberal president end terrorism? Keep in mind they hated us for a very long time. For many presidencies. Fortunately I think the pendulum is swinging back... I mean slowly but surely. Do you think Roe vs. Wade will ever be overturned nationally or do you think it will just happen state by state? And how long until you think infanticide will be illegal nationwide again? 2015? 2050? 2100? I work for a credit card company and people call in yelling and cursing, then asking for help. Why do people do this when that just makes you not want to help them at all?? This is a question and also a suggestion that if you ever need help with a company that can control your APR or late fees or anything that will cost you money you may want to be nice to them.

My husband owns a 1993 Ford Ranger. It's a 5-speed standard transmission and--as we say--doesn't go anywhere in a hurry.

Earlier today, my husband got a speeding ticket...the cop claimed he caught him on radar going 52 mph in a 40 mph zone. The problem is there is no way this is possible in this truck. My husband was at a red light first and was pulled over less than 1/4 mile down the road. The cop said he was speeding *after* the light turned green. My husband had *just* put it into 4th gear and had just made it up to 40 mph according to his speedometer when he noticed the cops lights in his rearview mirror.

How on earth can we go about proving this is a bogus ticket and that it's absolutely not possible for my husband to have been speeding?
