Why do Republicans Hate America so much?

They seriously believe the end of the world is upon us so why worry about the environment? Why worry about social security? The Elderly? The chidren? They believe they'll all be dead soon & that they (the Republicans) will all be in some white mans paradise sipping champagne & getting BJ's from the Arabs.

I saw this on CNN, I know what I'm saying.....

They have a vision of an American utopia. It's a law-abiding, peaceful, Christian nation awaiting the second coming. You can get a rather good idea of what it's like if you read "American Theocracy" by Kevin Phillips. It's pretty close to the vision the English had of utopia around 1914 going into the first world war, a conflict that would end all wars amd bring about world peace -- or at least that was their (very similar) vision.

There is a huge clash between this utopia and the liberal utopia (which is hideously ugly in an entirely different way). but the Republican utopia is more superstitious, and most superstitious people, or whould I call them by the term they use themselves?, most "spiritual" people, are born again Christians, not minority or college-educated city dwellers.

So the Republican utopia won in the 2004 election out of the born-again nature of the "spiritual" people who care.

To liberal utopians, of course, the republicans are wrong and their vision shows that the "hate America."

To independent voters, like me, who are anti-utopian, we are seesawing between two dangerous and self-destructive futures, and the best we can do in the short run is gridlock (which the President coming from a different party than the congressional majority).

Republicans and/or conservatives looooooove America. In fact they love it so much they want to see our ideas and freedom spread across the world. We want to see an end to world wide oppression,poverty,racism and sexism. The only way to end this is to get rid of dictators and give help to those who seek to establish democracies and capitalistic societies. People who have good jobs and secure homes and can see a future for there children do not go around killing other people. They are too busy enjoying their lives for this type of nonsense. People with nothing have nothing to lose... they are dangerous... people with something are reasonable and don't want to risk losing what they have. Republicans are Americas modern patriots...... They are leading the world in a new bright outlook for a long term world prosperity which will in time lead to world peace. So don't ask why we hate America... instead ask what you can do to help others see how great America is.

They don't hate America, just the Middle Class, just like the Democrats. Suppressing the middle class will give them more power and control, with less people to answer to, other than their big money contributors.
