In other words, aren't we all immigrants? Wasn't Ellis Island opened to deal with the influx of immigration caused by the huge flood of them coming here after WWI? Did you know that Americans were equally offended by your Polish, Irish and Italian ancestors as you are with Mexicans immigrating today?

I was driving home on a small one way street, just before pulling up to an all-way stop sign, I decided to dial my house. It was going to be a really fast call just to let my family know that I was close. I stopped at an all-way sign and saw an officer pull up simultaneously at a perpendicular street, at that point I took the phone away from my ear and put it on my lap with speaker mode. I signaled him to go first, he signaled me back to go first, as I drove by, he turned on his sirens and went after me and gave me a ticket, he said “it’s illegal to even hold a phone in your hand.” I think that’s a little absurd, I was on a tiny street with no cars and had the phone in my hand for only 10 seconds. I also own a headset and I would have used it for a longer call. I’d like to fight this ticket, does anybody have any advice ?

The left will bring down America, I believe that sincerely but hope I am wrong. Despite my beliefs, I still try to think of ways to stop the inertia of defeat the left drives us toward.
Ultimately the problem is one of emotional and intellectual weakness. An inablity to cope with the real world which accounts for the insanity of "blaming everyone else but the culprit" that is epidemic among insane leftists.
You see leftists, I dont judge the Islamist...I dont. The Islamist is entitled to his view of global Jihad and worldwide submission to Muhammads view of God. However, because I reject that view, and am not suicidal or religious, I make the darwinian choice to resist this predator by whatever means I have at my disposal.
I say this dispassionately. I am agnostic and dont foam at the mouth at the idea that someone believes different than me...actually, that whole stereotype of Christians is leftist propaganda anyway.

Our car was taken to a garage for an estimate only, owner took car out, determined everything that was wrong, especially the brakes. 1-2 days after giving us the estimate, his 17 yr. old employee totals our truck and wrecks into 3 other cars in the process. The seats in back of my truck were flat down like they were hauling something with my truck, he told cops he was just moving our truck off the lot in order to move other vehicles around, but the accident happened several blocks away and he was coming for the other direction. Cop said I probably couldn't get him for unlawful use of vehicle because he was test driving it, the guy keeps changing his story. Guy tolds me accident happened a block and a half away, which was also a lie, and get this, they guy drives our totalled truck back to the service station, then charges us $250 in storage fees for keeping the truck there that HE totalled. In short, do you think I could nail him on unlawful use? would that cost me anything to do?

My friend has got evicted out of his house which are owned by black people, he was renting it for six (6) years. One of their friends wrote "B***h a*s Ni**a" on the wall. It was written by pushing little holes with a needle. The home owners, are going to try to press charges against them for it.
Is it possible jsut to say that they didn't know since they've been living there for six years to not bring their friend up? If they are sued / charged, what will they be sued with?
Oh, and one more thing, it would be free expression of the 1st amendment, as long as it didn't harm the other. For example, the KKK can march down streets saying they hate blacks legally unless if they promote violence or do any harmful things to anything or anyone.

During Desert Storm the world was on our side, including most Muslim people, when we and the UN went into Kuwait to win it back from a foreign invader.
After 9-11 the world was on our side, including most Muslin people, when we went into Afghanistan after Osama and those actually responsible for the Twin Towers attacks.
When we had Osama cornered and surrounded our President suddenly decided to pull back, leaving Osama’s capture in the hands of local war lords, and decided to focus on Saddam. At the time Saddam was not a serious threat to us or the world. He was just another piss ant little dictator in another little country. The terrorists were the ones we should have stayed on the trail of.
Still, we all but deserted catching Osama so that we could invade Iraq.
Now, much of the world has turned against us, including most Muslims.
Why can’t some understand that we went after the wrong bad guy at the wrong time and for the wrong reasons?

A large number of Libbie Americans seem to have followed the Neville Chamberlain approach towards appeasing Facists.
The recent Brittish arrests of 24 Muslims who planned to blow 10 Airliners out of the sky as they were headed towards America should have awakened some of them up as to the true nature of Islam.

Its absolutely crazy to think any Republican is for the concept of war and wants to fight a war becasue they don't. I recently went to a political fundraiser and where Dick Cheney was speaking. He spoke very well and on my way out we noticed the protestors chanting something like "War lovers" or something like that. The liberal party is potraying Conservatives as people who want to fight and kill and like war and that is just not true. Conservatives support the war and support our troops but they don't want to be fighting a war when it really comes down to it anymore than the liberals and they don't want to be putting our troops in harms way. But just becasue they don't want to do those things does not mean its not neccasary and fortunately for this countries security the Conservatices can see that this is a neccasary but unfortuanate meausre that must be taken.

We were doing what most were doing yesterday..discussing the foiled attack. I made the mistake of saying "well, all the republicans are set to win in November." Meaning, times like this unite the nation a bring about a conservative voting process.
He then goes on for the next 30 minutes about how Bush was behind 9/11 and this foiled attack as well....each for election purposes. He rattled off about how the twin towers fell like a planned demolition, how the planes were too small, how we didn't intercept the planes before they hit, how the black box was never found, how the owner of the WTC bought an new ins policy right before the attacks, etc, etc!
Don't get me wrong, I'm no Bush fan. I don't believe everything I hear, either. I'm not shocked the attack was foiled right after the primary. But Bush orchestrating it all?? That's not something I am buying. Please help! Serious responses only please. He's not a dumb man. Quite intellectual actually. Honors student/CPA.
