Perhaps it is because it is time to stop being "the World's Police" I say bring ALL of our troops home and start trying to fix the problems that exist between our own borders. There are people in this great country that go to bed hungry every night. We had people needlessly die last year just because the powers that be did not know what to do after Katrina tore up the gulf region.

Maybe it is time to take a good long hard look at our own country for once. Let's solve some of the domestic problems first. We are going to someday find that while we are out being the peacekeepers all over the world, our own nation is starting to crumble.

I am not saying that we should completely close our eyes to the plight of the rest of the world. I am so sick of people constantly trying to make every little issue that comes up a "Right", or "Left" issue. If we cant work together to solve issues in our own country, how can we be expected go to a foreign nation, and make peace work there?
