would Bush still be so popular with the people who like to go to war or would he be just another so so President who is forgotten and becomes nothing in history? He doesn't seem to have much in his head except saying that " I am American and I hate the terrorist". He is not holding up his job too well and if he were head of company, he would be fired.
So, would he even be elected twice if this did not happen?

If Bush were the head of a company he would get huge bonuses for making his stockholders so much money. If there wasn't a war, he would have succeeded anyway by making us pay more money for everything so his wealth shareholders could still make a lot of money. Thats what politics is, you silly girl.

Its sad but I think 9/11 was the best thing that could have ever happened for Bush. Without it, he would not have even been *elected* a second term and also would have no real basis for finishing the war that his daddy started. I can't wait until '08 when I no longer have to see his monkey face and we can get a real president in office, not some smirking idiot like Bush is. I'm so glad that even Republicans are finally realizing what a failure he is. It took long enough but better late than never.

Most people do not like to go to war and most people do not like being attacked. The main thing I ask of my government is a strong defense. I do believe that President Bush is a true and loyal American and that he hates terrorism. I would expect that from my president. Also whether one is great or mediocre depends on the circumstances, would Lincoln have been great if slavery hadn't existed? Would Churchill have been great without WWII? Maybe, maybe not!

The thing is 9/11 did happen and there are terrorists. God has given us a leader who is good for his time. As in if this was a time of peace he probably wouldn't be doing too well but we're not at peace. Also no one likes to go to war except terrorists. War is necessary in this world. "The man who turns his swords into plowshares will be plowing for the man who didn't."

Considering the fact that the economy has been BOOMING in spite of 9/11, I think that our current economic standing would be even stronger. Can you imagine if oil was only $40 a barrel, the Dow was at 12,500, and unemployment was at 3%?
Too bad the terrorist hate our way of life, huh?

Personally, I think anyone who voted for Bush needs their heads examined. And those who voted for him again after that fiasco need to be lined up and shot, without a blind fold.
I don't know what these people were thinking. Did they not like being Americans? Did they not like having free speech and all the other rights that are listed in the Constitution?
My hubby voted for Bush and he claims to have done it b/c of Powell. Naturally, I put my foot in his behind. If you like Powell, get him to run for president but don't vote for a man you don't like just b/c a man you do like works under him.
And every time Bush does something that involves the military and sticking it to the military one more time, I look at my hubby and I tell him, "I told you so!"
Is that vile and vindictive? Yes. Do I care? No. I told him not to vote for that idiot.

Terrorism was a problem before 9/11 there have been numerous hijackings and hostage problems. I like to compare terrorism to world war II. It was a huge problem for a long time it just took America to get attacked for us to realize there are people out there besides ourselves.

Bush is a coke snorting, alcoholic that has failed at every thing else that he has ever tried so why would running the country change that. Without that terrorist no one would still like him, no one with any sense anyway. He was not elected either time as he has stolen two elections.
