my husband's father died. and his brother and sister are trying to take all that the three of them are entitled. they sent him a paper from there lawyer asking him to give up his rights to everything. and in this letter it stated that my husband spoke with his brother and said he wanted nothing which it not true. my husband wants only his fair
share. 1/3 of the value of the estate. but they don't want to share it with him. my husband is the oldest son and the next of kin.
if my husband refuses to sign the paper will the brother still
be able to get the courts to grant him administrator of the estate.
i would like to add there father was not a good man.
he killed him self becaues he commited a crime and was facing the rest of his life in prison.
he also had not talked to my husband in years , never showed him love.

his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of the law and please serious answers only!

Why is it that...

if a Mexican tries to protect their culture they are a hero.
if a white tries to protect their culture they are a racist.

if a Mexican fights for the use of Spanish they are applauded.
if a white fights for the use of English they are bigoted.

if a Mexican does what they think is best for their family it is condoned.
if a white does what they think is best for their family they are insensitive.

if Mexico wants to protect it's borders with stiff immigration laws, they are a sovereign nation.
if America wants to protect it's borders with stiff immigration laws, we aren't allowed to do it because a statue given to us by France dictates our immigration policy.

If a Mexican has 10 children and collects welfare for them, it is condoned.
If an American has 10 children and collects welfare, they are lazy.

If a Mexican makes a hateful comment against whites, it's because they're repressed.
If an American makes a comment against Mexicans, they're racist.

The American dream of home ownership, complete with the white picket fence, is alive and well for those who break our laws and break down our fences to get in.

While law-abiding homebuyers must supply airtight proof of identity, legal residence and a Social Security number to lenders, illegal alien purchasers need only supply a "taxpayer identification number" (TIN) issued by the Internal Revenue Service. No criminal background check is required before applying for a TIN, which many banks now accept from illegal alien customers as a primary form of identification.

That's just the tip of the illegal alien homeowners' iceberg. The Post failed to note that Federal Housing Administration-approved loans through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development do not require lenders to obtain proof of citizenship or legal permanent residence. These FHA/HUD programs, primarily targeting minorities and first-time homebuyers, are federally insured and require minimal down payments.

If you are 14 the officials that get elected will have a say about your draft eligability at age 18. Shouldn't you have some say in that? As a side question, if you think the age is fine at 18 then why should 16 and 17 year olds have to pay taxes? That is taxation without representation, and think we fought a war over that once.

It must not exclude acts of war/god/ or terrorism either. If you were asked to leave your home, wouldn't you want a full comprehensive insurance plan to protect your family's investment for the future? Do Israeli banks provide this service at good rates?

At the level it needs to if it wants to win the war in Iraq and preserve the military to be ready for future threats.
So what is the state of our military ?
The US National Guard is " $ 23 bullion in the hole after 5 yr of war and nationaldisasters .
The Army alone needs $ 17.1billion for it's force in 2007 and a annual yearly bill of $12billionor more for two to threeyears after the Iraq war ends to reconstitute it's equipment back to fighting form .
And has Congress provided anything remotely closeto the necessary funding. Why ?

It seems to me that for a democracy to work you must have a secularized society, any other way and there is instant distrust. Not that there isn't in our society I guess!! Maybe you don't need secularism, you need sense!!! Seems a lot of countries with a lot of people lack that these days....our own included!

I haven't followed Miller for a long, long time, but I seem to remember he had more of a liberal slant when he did his comedy bit with SNL long ago. And now he's going to Fox News as a conservative?

I've been sleeping, I guess, but when did he change political affiliations?

If your born here to an ILLEGAL Immigrant I don't believe that the kid should be given automatic citizenship. All it does is encourage Illegals to come here and Drop Anchor babies. They figure that the US government will not seperate the mother and child. This LOOPHOLE being exploited by Illegals Needs to be CLOSED.
