his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of the law and please serious answers only!

Stop posting the same question! I'm beginning to suspect that you're the one being charged.

It is too lenient considering that some people get locked up when they did not do anything at all to infringe upon another.... I do not know if you are telling the truth with this one.... but if you are .... well then something is wrong with the system.....

Now since it was unarmed well the main thing should be paying back teh money, so they should be looking to get him into some type of "work release" program if he can handle that, meaning if he really knows that robbery is wrong.

I would think that you'd post the same question in different categories instead of the same exact one in the same place with just a short time in between. So, is this a different bank or the same one as the last question in Lancaster County?
