It is the LAW that ALL males 18-25 living in America sign up for selective service. Selective service is the only back up mechanism for our all volunteer military. Should the need arise for our government to call up a draft is it fair that illegals reap the benifits of this great country and not be preparred to serve it's needs in time of war?

My son was bit by a dog at his sitters home and we r in a legal battle with her and her insurance company. She says it was a stray dog and not hers? I would just like to know where I could find some cases to read on the internet. I know I could go tothe libairy but I'm not sure what to look up? So if you have any ideas pls let me know? I saw this article about how bed bugs, nearly eradicated in the WW II era, are back with a vengence:

"Absent from the U.S. for so long that some thought they were a myth, bedbugs are back. Entomologists and pest control professionals are reporting a dramatic increase in infestations throughout the country, and no one knows exactly why."

I thought to myself SURELY we can blame this on illegal immigrants, and SURE ENOUGH down in the middle it says:

"Experts are not entirely sure what has caused the marked increase. Some speculate that increased international travel and immigration may be partially to blame."

My grandmother left me an inheritance for college and I have been going to college for almost two years on loans and grants (graduating B.A. in 2009). My uncle is executor of the will where it states my inheritance is for college once the land sells or any part of the estate. Some of the land sold this past year and I never recieved a cent. My aunt (his wife- not by blood) wanted me to send proof I was going to college, so I sent it off a month ago. She also is trying to claim I can't get the money if I have a degree (I only have an A.A.) and it's not written anywhere in the paperwork. Now I am starting class in 2 weeks and I have not heard from my aunt or uncle. I think they are trying to scam me out of my inheritance. They personally don't like me, but that shouldn't keep them from giving me my inheritance. What should I do? Is there legal services for a poor college students? I'm really irritated with the whole mess and ready to sue them.

Is that possible to have the state suspend my DL because of that accident my son had they held me responsible, the car was total loss and the police never called me to the scene and my son was not even sent to the hospital. Now after 4 years i receive a letter that the lawyers are asking me for one-hundred thousand $ from a car that i never seen that was total loss. I cannot afford that money but can they do that and if so for how long will it be suspended if I dont pay that money? I also found out that the lady that is suing me is her own Insurance company, so she must know people that can help her out , I really need advice and I really need my liscence so what can i do and is this correct can they actually make me pay 100,000 dollars????????? ty for your answers CINDY

you know, in the sixties when I was a little boy, I knew what was going on... young people had a conscience. They refused to accept a brutal unjust war and they said "Hell No We Won't Go" They refused to accept the lies of war mongering Johnson and Nixon... they said no. They went to prison for their beliefs. They refused to participate... Now we have another unjust, unnecessary war... and when I see some of the responses of the very young Republicans on this yahoo answers, frankly, I find it very sad that they have been so duped and cow towed. Today, there are so many distractions... internet, x box, cable, cell phone, i pod the list is endless. This keeps people from really looking at what is going on. Because if you really knew what was happening in Iraq, you would be horrified and you would move to impeach Bush IMMEDIATELY and put him and Cheney up for war crimes. So I say again to the very young... do you know what you're doing when you support George Bush?
