Realistically? No. The Republican and Democratic parties do not nominate moderates for the presidency because they're ultimately unpredictable--they wouldn't find it savory for a Democrat proposing a Marriage Amendment banning gay marriages, after all, and the same concept works for Republicans. It's near impossible that the Republican Party would even nominate him and even if they did, realistically, his only chances of winning are by a slight margin--nowhere near the success that Reagan had back in the 80's. Unless, of course, Arnold ran against Hillary, in which case he'd undoubtedly win (most Republicans, roughly half the Democrats, and almost every extreme-sided Independent hate her, after all).
(Fun Fact: Davy Crockett was elected into the Halls of Congress and was booted out next election. Same thing is most likely going to happen with Arnold.)

Many people don't realize that these questions are hypothetical.
No, he probably wouldn't. He won in California because it was a cool idea to have such a huge movie star become governor, added to the fact that they booted their own out. He's been suffering in the polls lately, and his re-election run (whenever that is) is not secure.
Many in America probably would look at the fact that he's not incredible at his gubernatorial job, and the fact that the U.S. is laughed at enough already without putting an entertainer as our leader, that he would lose a national election. I don't know if he would win his parties nomination.
It would be interesting, especially seeing who he would pick as his running mate. Interesting, but not likely to happen.

Thank God and the foresight of Ben Franklin and his boys. The "Gropenfuhror" can't run for president. Unless the fascist right wing changes the Constitution. Arnold has lied to every Californian who voted for him. His regime in California has set us back twenty years. Our infrastructure is crumbling and he keeps collecting those taxes and deficating on the laws he requires us to abide by.
His administration in California has done nothing to improve the quality of life. He hasn't improved the roads, the schools or our security.
The California Prison System is a shambles due to his lack of ability and his solution is typical Republican... throw wads of money at the problem and hope it goes away.
I can't even stand to watch his movies anymore!

I don’t see why not. It seems that George W. Bush and his hawkish administration derive much of the inspiration for their foreign and military policy from bad action films, and the credulous testosterone driven public goes along with it hook line and sinker. If Bush’s strategic formulations are founded on Jerry Bruckheimer films, I don’t see why an actor, who starred as an action hero, wouldn’t have broad appeal among a public whose idea of international relations is summed up in the catch phrase : “Shoot’em and ask questions later”.

You know what? I live in California. I didn't vote for him because 1) i'm not a republican and 2) it's so cliche! I swear he only won because he's a celebrity. So if he were able to run for president (which he cannot) I have a feeling he'd win. Only because of his celebrity status.

I doubt it.
California Congressman Dana Rohrabacher introduced legislation to overturn the Constitutional requirement that permits only persons born in the United States to serve as president. Similar legislation was introduced in the Senate.

No, IF Arnold were eligible to run, he could not win. He is, unfortunately, even stupider than George W.
And that's going some.

I don't think he would, given the fact he is Republican. I think most people definiately wouldn't vote for a celebrity that is Republican, though I was surprised that Bush was able to get enough votes on his side.
