you can do it that way...it just has to be witnessed by a judge or a priest.

Yeah, I'm i'm not sure why your question is under the "immigration" section, But you can hire a minister to come to the house. You still have to get a marriage license or the marriage won't be recognized by the state. (if you care about that sort of thing.. that usually only helps if you wind up a divorce and want totake him to court. sorry just being thorough) Acqiring the license may be a problem if there's an immigration issue.

The local circuit court judge is empowered by the state to perform the marriage ceremony, It really doesn't matter were just as long as it's witnessed and all the papers are signed and filed , go to your county Cort house and ask at the commissioners office about the particulars for your state/county. and good luck ! I hope it's a special day!!!

At 18 you're too young to get married for crying out loud!!! Go to college, get an education, get a career, experience life. You don't want to wind up at 21 with a couple of rugrats and barefoot and pregnant. You owe it to yourself to live life before making such an important commitment!

You're confused indeed, so much so that it's not easy to grasp what your concern may be. Gleaning through your word what I get is that your fiancee wants the ceremony to be held in his or your house (am I getting it?), and you may have some doubts about it. If my reading is correct I'd say that a wedding ceremony in a house is less glamorous but not less legally bounding. It's just as important as if you rented Crystal Cathedral. (Did I get it?)

I don't think people should be allowed to marry until they are 25 or older. When you know what you want. After you've sewn your oats and learned about the world you live in.

It doesn't matter what your friend or anyone else did. You must register for a marriage license in your city, not his.

You call your church or city hall for the rest. Then everyone you know and their friends and their families and their friends and their parent's cousin's family from overseas and their friends will all give you ideas on your wedding plans.

1. If you are not sure about how to get married, dont do it.
2. If you both love, make it as legal as possible and involve your parents on it.
3. I think you are really young even for my country, please be sure you want to get married, think the advantages and disadvantages and ask your friends.

Don't do it!!! sounds like trouble. Too big an age difference and
you need a guy that will marry you in a church and not at the
house. Too weird........

good luck!!

Are either of you in the country illegally? Either way, you need to decide what you want. You can get married pretty much anywhere you want.
