No matter the crime (i think, not sure) for a high price you can take someone out of prison, for child rapists for example you can bail them out with enough money does this prove that the gov really only cares about money and not helping the person in prison learn his lesson.?

There is post after post on Answers from Mexicans claiming they have a legal right to be here because this land belonged to Mexico. They are Mexican, therefore they make some sort of illusive connection between the two. But what I am noticing is that some of the land they claimed belonged to Mexico never did. And in truth, the SW USA is just that. So SERIOUSLY please. Are they taught this somewhere that the SW USA is still disputed territory? Or are they just making this statement to try to make enough people believe it that it could be true someday?

The driver claims that she had the green light but three witnesses said otherwise in a police report.My lawyer says we don't have a case being that if it goes to court ,all the defense has to ask the witness is " Have you lied before ".He went to the hospital & later released with only scrapes and bruises.My Lawyer also said that Hawaii's state law will not even punish this person criminally as it is her word opposed to the three eye witnesses.Is he correct?

Is American history no longer being taught in school? Do they not have the history channel, seen a movie, had a conversation with a real American? I don't understand why so many people who appear to have basic English skills and access to a computer and the Internet can not know the history of the U.S. and not know how politics and ownership works. It would be true of any country. So why is it that America in particular seems to so many people to belong to someone else. Do they really think there is a territorial dispute? Or are they simply uneducated?
PS this is a serious question.

Remember taxes are a investment in our country.
We will just give you a bill every month for every stop sign,stoplight you pass, bill for police and fire training, water bill without 'We the people" helping and a large millitary bill to protect you so you don`t have to use your gun here, without 'We the People" helping. We can just send you bills without 'We the People" helping to throw in on the pool. Sure would change some votes if you had to pay to vote.

They used to teach debate in our public schools, but its no longer an elective (at least where I live). Has this led to the death of real/intellectual debate? For example, people ask questions on this site and give points to whoever agrees with them. The majority are not open to other views or appreciate a good argument. Should we put debate back into our curriculum? What can be done to resolve this?
