Aside from continuing to investigate which individuals and groups have committed terrorist attacks against the US, none of the other 'issues' that you mention are on the liberal agenda. They're more concerned with pesky little constitutional issues like "providing for the common Defense, promoting the general Welfare, and securing the blessings of Liberty" (to quote the Constitution).

But I've got to comment about the moon landing thing. A friend of my brought this up last night. Apparently, those who believe the earth is flat have a new crusade. They don't think the Apollo missions ever happened. According to their (dare I use the word) 'scientists', the Saturn rockets didn't have enough thrust to reach orbit, and everything since then has been staged. We've never been to orbit, and every space mission has just flown into the upper atmosphere before returning to earth.

Apparently, the tens of thousands of people who watched the Saturn launches for the various Apollo missions were mistaken and the rockets never actually got off the ground. And the hundreds of thousands of people who own telescopes aren't really seeing satellites in orbit, because it's all been faked.

I think it's time for us to get to the bottom of that conspiracy, because it has such an essential impact on our daily lives. Oh, if only there were political parties who had solving these crises as part of the agenda. Where's the Flat Earth Society candidate when you need him?

They'll likely have Congress in 06, after which time nothing will be done until 08 because if they do something they might piss someone off.

Personally I am a fan of a split Congress, or if one party controls it, then the other has the exec branch. Gridlock is good - witness Reagan and Clinton. It works well ... what doesn't work well is monopolization of power under either party, because no broad consensus is ever reached, and that party in power begins to think its shït doesn't stink.

That's why if the dems grab Congress in 06 I'll be pulling for a GOP prez in 08, but if the GOP retains control I'll pull for a dem prez.

They're going to have to accept the challenge of refinancing this country, return it to an economic stability, returning jobs to the US and having society return to a more prosperous state.

They will tax the crap out of anyone making any money in this country so that they can give it to deadbeats who didnt want to go to school or stay away from drugs. They will fight to keep it legal for a baby in its 3rd trimester to have a doctor go up, crush its skull with a pliers and suck its brains out because the mother didnt want to have her man wear a condom.

I hope they take more of our tax dollars and use them to reconstitute the military. Bush's tax cuts have hurt this country in some terrible ways, most specifically by underfunding the military.

I doubt they'll do any of your investigations, since all of theose (except 9/11) were around the last time the democrats were in power.

I agree with the top poster about the military. Bush is giving BILLIONS to Haliburton but he won't spend a dime to protect our soldiers with bulletproof vests. I mean their parents have to BUY it themselves so they can send it to their kids!!!!!!!!!!
