That's a very good observation adding the fact that Israel has nothing to lose but it i taking US down with it. People around the world do not respect Americans anymore.

Israel should pullout all their troops and start lobbing things of their own. Nukes perhaps.
How many suicide bombers have gone from Israel to Lebanon? How many soldiers has Israel kidnapped? How many Lebanese civilians were killed prior to Ebola lobbing rockets into Israel? Open your eyes and take a short look at what is really going on. Somebody wants you DEAD. Along with every other non-Muslim on the planet. Unless, of course, you are Muslim, in which case someone wants you for a human shield.
I'm sorry, this really is a complete waste of time. Terrorist lovers will never be cured until most of their family is decapitated on International Television. And, I'll bet money on two things. 1. They will squeal like a pig under a gate when it happens. 2. It won't be an Israeli doing the decapitating.

Tough call, problem is Israel is hated by all it's neighbors. It can't show any weakness they have to win this war.
The reason may seem odd but it will provide stability. when it's neighbor's that want to destroy Israel see the infrastructure damage that Israel can do In comparison to a few small rockets, the realization that OK fighting an army that hides behind civilians is hard will sink in but the destruction of the country is what really matters.
This is what will bring long term peace, to be callous a few deaths now will save thousands in the future.
So pulling out is not an option for now.

U.S. involvement in Vietnam began in 1959 and did not end until 1973. That's 14 years of war. Why don't you wait a few years with this current conflict before making comparisons to Vietnam.

Ask Vietnamese victims of Viet War if they agree that the U.S army should have committed their crimes sooner! I bet they won't say Yes. And even I, among the new generation of the Vietnamese, won't agree to say so. If you have a chance to meet the agent orange victims, woulded soldiers and lonely mothers losing their children in the war in my country , you will have the right answer for your quest. I myself suggest the Israels should stop petrol-bombing and withdraw from Lebanon right away 'cuz residents there are innocent.

No, They are doing the right thing, they are fighting the terriorists and not Lebanon. They must fight till the end to eliminate the terriorists and set an example for others, like India, India should learn from Israel and destroy all terriorist training centres and hideouts either within her or outside. One has to fight to maintain peace.

We could have won the war in Nam. War Protestors and gutless politicians caused us to lose and caused millions and millions of deaths in Nam and Cambodia.
Israel knows what it's doing and there are very few cowards in Israel. Maybe none.
