The term "unfit" is very subjective and doesn't adequately describe what behaviour you are trying to discourage in your landlord.
Find a tenancy rights group and find out what is legal or not, and persue the landlord for any illegal actions he is taking.

No one can tell you what actions to take if you don't explain what has happened. You can go to the Internet under landlords, and it will explain what you can and cannot do, under the legal law. What the tenants rights are and the landlords rights are. I moved when I didn't like my landlord, now I have a very nice one, but then I live in a small town. If you explain more then maybe you will get some real help.
