At frst I supported Bush's decision to invade Iraq and dismantle the weapons of mass destruction. Since the invasion and eventual capture of Saddam, the USA has made a mess of things in Iraq with the help, of course, of the Iraqis. Isn't it time for the USA to leave and let the Iraqis settle things for themselves? Of course, there is one major worry and that is will Iran move into Iraq. This would be a horrible thing to happen and would surely mean another great war.

Today, August 6th, 61st anniversary of Hisroshima Atomic Bomb attack.
In present day world affairs, Japan is a major ally of America. Have Japanese people already come out of the past shadows, then why are they mourning a strike in remembrance of tht attack tomorrow?

In all the talk about the Israel-Lebanon war going on right now, I haven't seen anything about what the various factions within Lebanon think.
(for those who dont know, Lebanon is about evenly divided between Christians and Muslims. for years the two fought each other in a bitter civil war)
I'd imagine the Christian Lebanese are not particularly pleased with Hezbollah for getting their country into this mess. On the other hand, they can't appreciate the bombing and killing and destruction that Israel has brought upon their country (even if the main bombing targets are Hezbollah operations centers in Muslim neighborhoods, I'm assuming that many Christian Lebanese have been casualties of this war as well, no?)

Why is it that BUSH (his cronies and supporters) constantly talks about the "sanctity of marriage" when talking about a Marriage Amendment which would state that it should be exclusively between a man and a woman?

Sanctity of Marriage? That's laughable. Why don't Republican's target the real social crisis facing married couples like the 53% divorce rate (that's US Census Statistic).

Sanctity of Marriage? We live in a country where I can marry two people by answering thirty questions in an online test and become a MInister in three days!!

We have chapels that marry people via Elvis impersonation 24/7!!

It's like the abortion debate. If conservatives cared about the sanctity of others then why aren't they spending all that anti abortion money on setting up adoption clinics?

Why, why not? It's the classic bait and switch. They don't care about the sanctity of anything other than the sanctity of their own selfishness and precious religious views. Religious views!! LOL

1) The State of Israel is a Jewish State, which does not recognize the authority of Jesus Christ or His Divinity

(2) The State of Israel made anti-Christian laws and persecute Christian missionaries trying to convert Jews to Christianity

(3) The STate of Israel actively persecutes Palestinian Christians. Only Christians are children of God -- Jews are not sons and daughters of God while Palestinian Chritsians are.

(4) The State of Israel forbids building of Christian schools and seminaries in Israel

(5) The State of Israel persecute the fatherless, widows, and the poor in its midst -- and they happen to be Arab Christians

This book is great for Christians who are misled by temptation to support the Jewish State. It's important to know the facts.

and I have been there so thats all true

They SUCK Gas, they SUCK in general...as do Hummers...if you do drive a Hummer are you overcompensating for something small?

Do you believe that in these times, when environmental issues have an effect on us all, when a large protion of the violence in the Middle East is a result of our fight to obtain as much oil as possible, when these bigger vehicles are responsible for guzzling more gas and causing double the amount of road accidents since their inception than any other vehichle, even four door sedans, that driving an SUV, especially a Hummer, is political, socially, and personally irresponsible?
