During World War II the Nazis killed 6 million Jews in concentration camps. As a way to appease the Jews for what they went through, the land which is now Israel was taken away from the Palestinians and givin to the Jews. We did this because the land originally belonged to the Jews approximately 2000 years ago.
However, the land that is the United States originally belonged to the American Indians. You don't see us giving this land back to them. We give them land that we don't want in the form of Indian Reservations. But we keep all the good land for ourselves.
We can take land away from the Palestinians and give it to the Israelis because it doesn't effect us. It just shows the world that we care. But if we had to give Manhattan Island back to the American Indians, that would be unheard of.
Note: We never actually bought Manhattan Island from the Indians. We just borrowed it, liked it, and decided to keep it.
Americans are just a bunch of greedy, selfish, hypocrits.

After World War II, in 1947, the United Nations agreed on the partitioning of Palestine into Jewish and Arab states; Arabs rejected the proposals, however, in 1948 the State of Israel was declared and the Arabs attacked. They were defeated. In 1967, the infamous 6-day war began. Israel was again victorious and occupied the Gaza strip, much of Sinai, the Golan Heights and the West Bank. Hostilities continue to this day.

There was never any place called Palestine.
Jordan has 70% Palestinians, which is where they are from. Jordan was drawn from whole cloth, too, as were Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran.
The land that is now Israel was a swampland that only 40 Bedouin families migrated through every year. No one was there.
Stop the lies. Stop hating.
Repent your ways and you will not be destroyed. Step aside and let us cleanse the world of the filth in the Middle East. Fight us and you will suffer the consequences.
Islam is on its last legs.

After the second world war Britain occupied Palestine, in a secret agreement between them and Jews they told them they're giving them Palestine to get rid of them, because they didn't want them to increase in Europe. Palestinians who knew wut's going on fought back, because Britain announced that in May 1948 they will leave Palestine for its people but instead they brought Jews instead of them. This is when Israelis killed people for no reason to scare those in different regions they raped women, killed children and pregnant women. Back at that time authorities had the complete power on media so people knew wut governments wanted them to know. What happened is that they told them evacuate your houses just for couple of days and u will come back, some people even had the keys of their houses. They were told that Israelis wants to kill those who fight them and then everything will be ok and they will go back to their houses. Till now they're still occupying a land that was and will never b for them. The promise land could b any other land

Ask first, how did Israel become Palestine..... that's non-biased..... 1948, Israel was re-born so to speak.... one of the few things the UN did to promote democracy.

Oh my God ... the story is seen from different views , but the main point is that before 1948 , there was no Israel. but the british with the UN , wanted to do God's work to re - give the promised land to the Jews( although they were considering Australia first !).
Anyway , I guess this issue will never be solved as long as the Jews will force people by gun to accept them...

By the end of WWII, Britain was the colonial power over Palestine, which was a no-man's-land of nomadic tribes, small towns and cities with long histories like Jerusalem. This area had been under the Ottoman Empire and arab rule for many hundreds of years.
The entire Western world was feeling guilty over the Holocaust and the fact that all Western countries had refused to admit Jewish refugees seeking asylum from Hitler's 'Final Solution' of annihilation of European Jews. The thinking was that if the Jews had had a 'homeland' or a place where Jews had to be admitted no matter what, the Holocaust wouldn't have been as far-reaching as more people could have escaped.
So, a bunch of Jewish people were asked where they'd like to settle, and they picked Palestine because there were some historical associations for Jews of Semetic origin (the Jews in question were not Semetic, they were natives of Europe who were of the Jewish faith, but many of the non-Semetic Jews wanted a homeland established in Palestine). Many religious Jews were opposed to this, as they said that Jerusalem and Israel were holy places to be reestablished only by God and not by decree of the UN.
Those objections were ignored and Israel was created by UN decree. The Jews moving there to establish the new country interpreted this decree to mean that they did not have to work with the existing tribes and peoples living there; they routed them out of their homes and workplaces and sent them to refugee camps to create an entirely artificial, new Western-style 'democracy' except that citizens had to prove their Jewish connections to be a part of it.
Since that time, relations between the new country and its neighbors have grown steadily worse, as no assimilation of the original populace has taken place and Israel has focused outside itself by concentrating on obtaining funds and benefits from worldwide Jews (who did not flock to populate the new country as had been predicted) and is now a dependency of the United States. Israel receives $4 billion per year and up to $43 billion in loan guarantees a year in aid from the US, which makes it the largest receiver of funds in the world.
The areas where Israel could work with its neighbors to foster peace in the middle east are:
1) Water conservation techniques. Israel has spent billions of US funds on learning how to convert desert to arable land. Many arab nations probably would like to learn that.
2) Development. Israel has learned lots of good building and architecture techniques suited to its area. This would also be helpful to its neighbors.
3) Environmental considerations. Israel probably knows more about environmental issues in its area than any of the other countries. This, too could be shared.
Finding ways to assimilate the Palestinians and provide useful services to its neighbors as export strategies could make Israel a shining jewel in the middle east. Let's all hope that a government with these goals comes into power soon there.

It did not become Israel. Part of it did, but all the people of Israel have to do is give all the land they occupy illegally back to the Palestinians.
