I've googled this, but I can't find the answer.

If a person was sentenced to death, then suddenly found innocent when it was too late, what happens to the family/ loved ones?

Do/ could they sue, or is their some sort of compensation? What happens?

Polls show that most disagree with Bush's policies. They don't say why though. I want to know what you would like to say to G.W.B. We'll compile all answers to this question and turn it into a website in the hope that someone with the power to do something may be motivated to act... My eventual goal is to get 5000 different answers. Make them good guys.

They seem to be happy at every meeting they have had during the last weeks. Is this Lebanese genocide a good reason to party? What kind of human beings are they? Both seem to have absolutely no respect for anything or anybody. Two of a kind!

America kept land it won from Mexico in 1848; France got Alcase-Lorraine back from Germany after WWII....but somewhere along the way it was no longer cool to keep the land you won in war like when Iraq beat Kuwait. So when did this change happen?

If you are a Christian, as our President George "Dubya" Bush claims to be, how do you justify killing innocent civilians in the name of war as we have done in Iraq and other countries around the globe. Don't get me wrong. I don't like the actions of evil dictators like Sadam or his sons and feel they all should have been brought to justice to answer for their alleged crimes. But in every war in history there are rapes and murders of innocent people and I wonder how George W. reconciles this since the bible says "Thou shalt not kill" and "Love thy neighbor as thyself."

The United Nations is being criticized for failures to really push its abilities.

Genocide all over the world is failing to be stopped. The Hezbollah Resolution signed earlier wasn't, as far as I know, carried out or even attempted.

Do you believe the UN works? Do you have examples of times the UN has succeeded?

If not, how could it be reformed to really work for human rights and lives?

I just have been reading the answers from Artistic_prof. His story is mine (well most of it) I sent my life story to my sister to put in our family book and this person is using that story to talk about themself. Though he added a quite a few things, it is my life he is talking about. Why would someone do that? What makes people want to be what they are not? How do you stop this? I feel violated, and not in a good way! This is like when that couples mobil home was stolen and they took a vacation to get over and and the place they rented was their home, only this is more serious.

I'm in an abusive situation and will be taking the kids and getting out this week, but I am wondering if I can somehow turn my husband in to the authorities.....he has unpaid speeding tickets from two different states where we've lived in the past year, and he just got pulled over again in ANOTHER state where we were on vacation a month ago (for doing 85 in a 55 - of course it was not his fault, or so he claims). Anyway, they got him for suspended license (because of the unpaid tickets) and he was to pay or appear in court by July 27th, and he didn't...so not only is he driving around on a suspended license, he's ignoring the summons.....I'm guessing there's a warrant for his arrest in the county where the ticket was issued, but since we don't live there, and we don't live at the address on his license, will they come after him? I will be looking to prove that he is abusive and give evidence of all the abusive and neglectful things he did toward the kids and me, so would it help for
