Um. Because think about it. Realistically, if you could support a war, but not fight in it. Wouldn't that be what you'd do? It's not the most honorable thing but think about it. If it was back in WWII... and it came time to choose, does America intervene or not? Wouldn't you prefer to go into and fight Nazi Germany while staying home on your couch?
It's also possible the "neokon war-mongers" you're speaking to aren't of age yet, or maybe they're "neokon war-mongers" who aren't mongering for this war.
Don't be so closed-minded. They're people too and you with your biase and name-calling give liberals a bad name.
