and when you go to court if they show up you are guilty. It is your word against theirs and who is the judge going to believe???

I got a ticket for loud music with my windows up and a stock radio and speakers. I got a decibel reading to show that my stereo is not loud enough to be heard with the windows up and went to court to fight it. The ***** judge didn't even know what a decibel reading was, refused to go outside and listen for herself and believed that the cop heard my stereo from a BLOCK away! And music from a rooftop club can be easily heard from where I was pulled over. Then she added $25 to the fine. So basically we are screwed when we get a ticket and if we fight it we get punished with a bigger fine. How can this be fair? He lied she wouldn't look at all the evidence that I had and only pretended to look at what I gave her. BS!!!

Are you pro-arab or pro-israeli? Why? Are you taking a religious point of view or a historical point of view? Do you think the conflict in the Middle East that is occuring right now should be stopped immediately or let Israel continue to attempt to dismantle the Hezbollah? Who do you think is right in this current conflict?

When it became clear that the Americans had to fend off the Soviets who were penetrating Korea to get to the Japanese, an all-night meeting was convened at the White House (on August 10, 1945). Two junior officers, who hardly knew a thing about Korea, were sent into an adjoining room to carve out the US occupation zone. Working in haste and using a National Geographic map for reference, they proposed the area south of the thirty-eigth parallel be occupied by the U.S.
To this day, famillies on either side of the thirty eighth paralell have yet to be re-united. Wives and husbands, brothers and sisters, mothers and their children were seperated for a lifetime.
I was inspired to write this after reading a recent poster's question demanding why people aren't more grateful for America's help and frequent "bailing them out.". It's for reasons like this...people don't forget things like this.

For the Israelis to attack two countries over three soldiers is not "disproportionate" its just completely and utterly wrong! hundreds of WOMEN and CHILDREN are dying because of three soldiers who are probably dead anyway? is this justice? Is this fair? Is this Lebanon's fault? I really don't understand how, and if you know, explain to me how this can ever be justified.

The Hizbollah leader & the israeli leader could send in their best men to wrestle each other in neutral ground and the loser gives in to the winners demands saving all the innocent civilians from both sides all the pain & suffering. As it currently stands it is a no win situation with massive loss of lives & injuries.
