The rest of us will live in the rest of the west? we would all be much happier as Americans? Right? We can do home trades and everyone will like the people they see each day and know what to expect.

Nope, find a different system. Maybe they could all live in New England, tho' (the PC people).

I like the system we have now. All the ignorant trailer trash live in the red states and all the well educated people with money live in the blue states. That's why all the fly over states are red states, even republican politicians don't want to stop there.

I wish California, Oregon and Washington would secede from the Union. We'd have the 4th largest economy in the world if we did.
