Israel is bombing terrorist who are hiding behind civilians and have the right to do so. Scotland should support Israel though Israel is doing a fine job by itself defeating its enemies who hide behind their mother's skirt and behind children.

Where were you when all the suicide bombings were going on in Israel. When all the Hezbollah rockets were being fired into the country.

If you wanted to stop this carnage you should have stood up to be counted then?

By only standing up now you have taken sides and are giving active support to the terrorists who openly say they are using the Lebanese people as human sandbags!!!!

If you want to boycott anything to stop this then make it products from Iran and Syria.

That would be classed as sanctions, an Scotland hasn't got the ower to do that, did you really think Westiminster would allow you to have that much say in your own affairs. The UK can't do it without UN backing why do you this wee Scotland can. Also, I am sure with the money Israel has it wouldn't miss a few quid from a tiny cold country its never heard of.

Good idea though.
better luck next time

It was late at night on the open road, speeding like a man on the run
A lifetime spent preparing for the journey.
He is closer now and the search is on, reading from a map in the mind:
Yes there's that ragged hill and there's a boat on the river.

And when the rain came down, he heard a wild dog howl
There were voices in the night
(Don't do it!)
Voices out of sight
(Dont't do it!)
Too many men have failed before, whatever you do;

Don't pay the ferryman!
Don't even fix a price!
Don't pay the ferryman
Until he gets you to the other side.

In the rolling mist, then he gets on board, now there'll be no turning back
Beware that hooded old man at the rudder.
And then the lightning flashed and the thunder roared,
and people calling out his name,
And dancing bones that jabbered-and-a-moaned on the water.

And then the ferryman said "There is trouble ahead,
So you must pay me now."
(Don't do it!)
"You must pay me now."
(Don't do it!)
And still that voice came from beyond, whatever you do;

Don't pay the ferryman!
Don't even fix a price!
Don't pay the ferryman
Until he gets you to the other side.

The inporting of goods to the UK (including Scotland) is nothing to do with the Scottish Parliament.

It would need to be decided by Westminster, not Holyrood.

Not just Scotland - but the whole of the UK. This approach worked pretty well against the dreadful South African regime.

Should we continue sending $ to states that harbor terrorists so they can use the money to make bombs instead of feeding the hungry?

Yeah, do it. And in retaliation, Israel will stop importing goods from scotland.
Which means no more haggis, children.

Too bad the Lebanese don't make anything of any value, they could quit importing that too. Use your brain idiot.
