This question is for all those in the Pro-War crowd. Since the Iraqi war is so critical to our nation's security, (by fighting them in Bagdad, we don't have to fight them in Topeka) you are doing the right thing and urgently insisting that your children enlist to serve in Iraq, aren't you?

If you're not demanding that they serve in the armed forces, that would be indicative of some doubt concerning the security issue and even some thought that the war was probably started for oil, or Halliburton, or Israel, or thrills, or someone's ego needed some boosting. Wouldn't it?

I have to come up with some way of making people feel really important for throwing a birthday party for a member of congress--something "official-like." It's a certificate of recognition for_____, fill in the blank...not "throwing a good birthday party." Ugh. Help!

Some one who goes to the Dr. and cries about stubbing his toe and says that he can't work anymore just to get a check that tax payers pay for. Or some one who has never worked get a check and they seem perfectly fine.

they have the technology to grow plants in the desert, its just not cost effective.. but the world doesnt have a ton of extra fresh water...what if we used that technology to turn africa into a huge farm feild and pumped in water from the oceans...all we would need to do is design food the grows off salt water, or find a way to change the way salt effects these plants. Is that impossible? It seems possible, just really expensive? catch a man a fish feed him a week, teach him to fish feed him for life. instead of aid money (band aid solution) lets invest in third world countries and make them self sufficient? lets hear what u have to say...cheers

This is for LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS! Any illegals who choose to answer will not be given response, since you have NO RIGHTS! I know I am going to really piss some people off here, but it's about damn time. Smokescreen to cover the problems we face in Iraq? Well, yes I am sure the Bush administration would love to throw us all off the subject of the " Fine mess" he got us into!
I could care less about Bush and his guys trying to thwart the American public. Those of us who are educated and have military family members in Iraq know the score.
This is a homefront issue, it's been happening for yrs and yrs . Yes that much is true. Now tho we are seeing the repercutions of our laxness tenfold! Our very livelyhood is threatened by illegals. Just try and get a job in Joliet IL. and not speak spanish!
Where are our Marchers? I don't care what color, what race or religion. If you are a true citizen, why are you not hollering as loudly as those who are not? Do you not care? Lets March!

NEW YORK Immigration activists clashed at the site of the World Trade Center on Wednesday when an anti-illegal immigration group called for secure borders to avoid a repeat of the September 11 attacks and counterprotesters yelled "racists go home."

Members of the Minuteman Project, which patrols the U.S.-Mexican border for illegal immigrants, pushed and shoved members of an immigrant rights group that showed up at the event.

Jim Gilchrist and Jerome Corsi, authors of "Minutemen: The Battle to Secure America's Borders," were whisked away when some immigrant rights supporters broke through a police barrier and scuffled with Minutemen supporters.

Corsi, who also wrote a book critical of Sen. John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign, accused President Bush of leaving U.S. borders wide open.

"When the World Trade Center was attacked, we saw a failure of the Bush administration to protect our borders and to enforce our immigration laws
