The Illuminati is the upper end of a network of interrelated and interconnecting fraternal organizations, including Freemasonry. They have esoteric bodies of doctrine and are believed to be behind the New World Order agenda that seems destined to favour the privileged. They appear to have their origin in the doctrinal bodies of "Old Knowledge" from ancient Egypt and Babylonia. The Knights Templar are alleged to have brought many of their ideas to Europe around the time of the Crusades. They apparently found some documnets and manuscripts while searching in the ruins of the Temple of Solomon.

Some dude who had nicknamed himself "Osama", and was later suspended (not sure if it was by E.B. ;he was out to discredit Charles Darwin and air his political viewpoint)) once provided me with a link to a Moslem web site on Freemasonry. It was very, very well-written, what I had had the time to read, and it bore amazing consistency and corroboration with some of the more credible web sites put out in North America by groups of Judaeo-Christian origin.

It had a good, well-organized account of the history of the movement. The Moslems, as you now, are still bitter about the Crusades. They seem to know a lot about knights, and knighthood, past and present, is a very interesting topic. Have you ever heard the word "knight" being used humourously to refer to a Freemason or someone into similar activities?
