I watch him on CSPAN just about each morning and he seems to care about the country, and stands up for his beliefs.
If you have to resort to name calling (Bush Hater) go participate on some other board.

The only reason you like Specter is because he is attacking the President. Signing statements have no weight in law and have been going on for years. I think Specter had an accident with his Chemo therapy and he lost his brain function. Your hatred of Bush just shows ignorance.

He does stand up a lot and complain about Bush's acts against the Constitution. But when the sound bite is recorded, he sits down and shuts up like a good little lapdog! Check out the "compromise" he worked out with Bush, nuff said!

Sen. Arlen Specter is Pro-Choice. George Bush is a total retarded cowboy who is unfortunately our president now. How John Kerry lost a debate with him is beyond me... I rarely vote for republicans but I voted for him. He is a no bull, straight shooter. He is a rare politician.
Before anybody starts complaining that every president has had signing statements it should be noted that Bush has had more signing statements than every other president before him combined.
