No the international community is not silent. Many countries have all been screaming at the top of their lungs, "YES ISRAEL HAS THE RIGHT TO DEFEND ITSELF FROM TERRORISTS JUST LIKE THE UNITED STATES DID AND IS DOING AFTER 9/11 IN AFGHANISTAN AND IRAQ" and they are also screaming "AND THEY ALSO HAVE A RIGHT TO ATTACK THE PEOPLE FIRING HUNDREDS OF MISSILES INTO THEIR PEOPLE, JUST LIKE JFK (ALMOST) DID IN THE CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS. THEY HAVE THE SAME EQUAL RIGHTS THAT THE US DOES." That's what everyone has been saying. That's hardly quiet. You're very wrong here. Delete the question and write one after you read some current events. This kind of silliness should not be tolerated on Yahoo Answers. I've never heard the world being louder, quite frankly. You aren't too bright.

Why not tell the entire story instead of ur anti Israeli bias? You know Israel was attacked by 2 separate terrorist groups, Hamas and Hezbollah. The world knows this, and that is why it remained silent.

I truly think after September 11th, people will not side with an Arabic country. Plus they are blaming us (Americans) for Israel's attack. What is going on is horrific due to the innocent lives being lost however, sometimes you (as a whole) have to look inward for causes instead of placing blame on others.

Israel attacks are in direct response to hesbollah attacks, but nice try. Kick the hesbollah out of Lebanon, and the israelis will go home.
